Rescheduling Authority. 1. The basic workweek for rescheduling authority shall be five, eight-hour days, Monday through Friday of each calendar week. The eight hours of duty may be rescheduled daily according to work requirements by employees or their supervisors. This rescheduling may be subject to the mission needs of the Agency and will be consistent with applicable laws and regulations.

Rescheduling Authority. 1. The basic workweek for rescheduling authority shall be five (5) workdays, Monday through Friday of each calendar week. The work hours of an employee may be rescheduled by the employee or the employee’s supervisor in furtherance of the mission of the agency and consistent with applicable laws and regulations. The full, applicable workday for employees on standard and compressed work schedules may be rescheduled. For employees on flexi-time, the supervisor shall not reschedule a work day exceeding eight (8) hours. However, an employee on flexi-time may elect to work the full range of hours under the flexi-time work schedule. Under this election by the employee, the total daily hours worked (including scheduled hours) cannot exceed the maximum daily hours under the flexi-time plan. On days when this election is invoked, core hours do not apply. An employee on flexi-time, who elects to work more than eight hours on a rescheduled day, will notify their supervisor in advance. Split shifts may not be worked when workdays are rescheduled.

  • Appointing Authority If the grievance is not settled under Step 1, it may be formally submitted to the appointing authority. The grievance shall be submitted within seven (7) days after receipt of the written decision from Step 2 or the verbal decision of Step 1, whichever applies. Within seven (7) days after receipt of the written grievance, the appointing authority or designated representative shall meet with the employee. Within seven (7) days thereafter, a written decision shall be delivered to the employee.

  • Competent Authority Exchange of information concerning Competent Authority Requests is expected to take place between the Competent Authorities or their authorized representatives. The Competent Authorities intend to provide written notification to each other providing contact information (name, title, and mailing address) for each jurisdiction’s Competent Authority for purposes of the IGA, and to update this contact information, as appropriate.

  • Regulatory Authority If any regulatory authority having jurisdiction (or any successor boards or agencies), a court of competent jurisdiction or other Governmental Authority with the appropriate jurisdiction (collectively, the ''Regulatory Body'') issues a rule, regulation, law or order that has the effect of cancelling, changing or superseding any term or provision of this Agreement (the ''Regulatory Requirement''), then this Agreement will be deemed modified to the extent necessary to comply with the Regulatory Requirement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a Regulatory Body materially modifies the terms and conditions of this Agreement and such modification(s) materially affect the benefits flowing to one or both of the Parties, as determined by either of the Parties within twenty (20) business days of the receipt of the Agreement as materially modified, the Parties agree to attempt in good faith to negotiate an amendment or amendments to this Agreement or take other appropriate action(s) so as to put each Party in effectively the same position in which the Parties would have been had such modification not been made. In the event that, within sixty (60) days or some other time period mutually agreed upon by the Parties after such modification has been made, the Parties are unable to reach agreement as to what, if any, amendments are necessary and fail to take other appropriate action to put each Party in effectively the same position in which the Parties would have been had such modification not been made, then either Party shall have the right to unilaterally terminate this Agreement forthwith.

  • Audit Authority The Section of Audit and Control of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic shall act as the Audit Authority. The Head of the Audit Authority is the Director General of the Section of Audit and Control. The Director General of the Section of Audit and Control is directly subordinated to the Minister of Finance. The Section of Audit and Control is independent and functionally separated from the Certifying Authority, other administrative units of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, and other bodies involved in the implementation of the Financial Mechanism.   • Recall When it is determined by the Agency to fill a vacancy or to recall employees in a classification where the layoff occurred, the following procedure shall be adhered to: The laid off employee with the most State seniority from the same, similar or related classification series for whom the position does not constitute a promotion as defined in Article 17, and who prior to his/her layoff, held a classification which carried with it the same or higher pay range as the vacancy, shall be recalled first (see Appendix I). All employees who are laid off or displaced out of their classification shall be placed on the recall list by the effective date of their layoff. An employee shall be recalled to a position provided the affected employee is qualified to perform the duties. Any employee recalled under this Article shall not serve a new probationary period, except for any employee laid off who was serving an original or promotional probationary period which shall be completed. Employees shall have recall rights for a period of twenty-four (24) months. Notification of recall shall be by certified mail to the employee’s last known address or hand delivered to the employee with proof of receipt. Employees shall maintain a current address on file with the Agency. Recall rights shall be within the Agency and within recall jurisdictions as outlined in Appendix J. If the employee fails to notify the Agency of his/her intent to report to work within seven (7) days of receipt of the notice of recall, he/she shall forfeit recall rights. Likewise, if the recalled employee does not actually return to work within thirty (30) days, recall rights shall be forfeited. Any employee accepting or declining recall to the same, similar or related classification series and the same appointment category (type) from which the employee was laid off or displaced shall be removed from the recall and reemployment list if recalled to his/her original classification and appointment category (type). Except that any employee declining recall to a different appointment category (type) than that from which he/she was laid off or displaced shall be removed from the recall list for that appointment category (type).

  • Competent Authorities The Parties shall inform each other about the structure, organisation and division of competences of their competent authorities during the first meeting of the Sanitary and Phytosanitary Sub-Committee referred to in Article 65 of this Agreement ("SPS Sub-Committee"). The Parties shall inform each other of any change of the structure, organisation and division of competences, including of the contact points, concerning such competent authorities.
