Retired Members Sample Clauses

Retired Members a. Members retired from this University shall retain: 1. the same library privileges as full-time Members, parking facilities as per full-time Members, and such other University facilities as may be granted by the President at her/his discretion. 2. the same exemption from tuition fees for themselves, their spouses, and their dependents as full-time Members, as per Article 6.45. 3. the same eligibility for Physical Education Centre Membership for themselves, their spouses and their dependents as full-time Members, as per Article 6.55.
Retired Members. 5.6.1 Retired Members are those persons who: 5.6.1.1 Are at least 65 years of age. 5.6.1.2 Are no longer engaged in profit-making polygraph employment. 5.6.1.3 Have at least 20 years of membership in the American Polygraph Association. 5.6.1.4 Have attended a minimum of five (5) American Polygraph Association Annual Seminars. 5.6.1.5 Whose nomination has been approved by a two-third (2/3) majority vote of the Board, and 5.6.1.6 Whose nomination has been confirmed by a majority vote of all Voting Members present at a meeting of the General Membership.
Retired MembersThe Borough agrees to pay for the cost of Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Extended Basis Benefits, and Major Medical under Chapter 88, P.L. 1974, as amended by Chapter 436, P.L. 1981, commonly known as the New Jersey State Health Benefits Program, for all PBA members who retire with twenty-five (25) years of service in the Police/Fire Pension system.
Retired MembersActive Members upon retirement may continue to enjoy all rights and services of active members except the right to vote and the right to be elected to office by payment of the annual dues as a retired member.
Retired MembersThe Board will pay one hundred (100%) of the premium costs of article 10.1 a), b), d), e), and f) and one hundred (100%) of the premium cost for group life insurance of $25,000.00 for a member retiring or a member on disability pensions subject to the following: 1. To be eligible a member must have attained fifty (50) years of age. 2. The retiring or disabled member must have a minimum of ten (10) years continuous service with the Board at the time of the retirement or disability to be eligible for this program. 3. In the event of the death of the retired or disabled member prior to age 65, coverage will be continued for his or her spouse or dependent as defined in this agreement to the date when the member would have attained age 65. 4. This provision will be provided to retiring or disabled members provided they are not receiving their benefits from another employer, or through the Government or Government agencies. Benefits are not available if equivalent coverage is available through member’s spouse. If the spouse’s plan has a similar condition, the member’s plan will continue. 5. The above benefit coverage terminates when the member reaches their 65th birthday.
Retired Members. An active ASEA member who changes to retired member status (as defined by ASPPA for purposes of qualifying for reduced dues) shall remain a Member of ASEA so long as they remain a member of ASPPA.
Retired Members. An active ACOPA member who changes to retired member status (as defined by ASPPA for purposes of qualifying for reduced dues) shall remain a Member of ACOPA so long as they remain a member of ASPPA.
Retired MembersThe Employer shall provide and pay for a One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00) life insurance policy for each retired member and shall provide and pay for such life insurance policy until the retired member attains the age of seventy (70) years.
Retired MembersThe Board will pay one hundred (100%) percent of the premium cost of article 10.1 a), b), d), e) and f) and one hundred (100%) percent of the premium for Group Life Insurance of twenty-five ($25,000.00) dollars for a member voluntarily electing retirement or a member on disability pension subject to the following conditions: 1. To be eligible a Member must have attained fifty-five (55) years of age. 2. The retiring or disabled member must have a minimum of ten (10) years continuous service with the Board at the time of the retirement or disability to be eligible for this program. 3. In the event of the death of the retired or disabled member prior to age 65, coverage will be continued for his or her spouse or dependent as defined in this agreement to the date when the member would have attained age 65. 4. This provision will be provided to retiring or disabled members provided they are not receiving their benefits from another employer, or through the Government or Government Agencies. Benefits are not available if equivalent coverage is available through member’s spouse. If the spouse’s plan has a similar condition, the member’s plan will continue. Retired MembersSection 1. Employees of the Red Bank Police Department and their spouse, upon retirement shall have maintained their hospitalization, medical and dental insurance coverage currently in force at the time of retirement and such coverage shall be maintained at the cost to the Borough for the life of the retired employee and the life of the employee's spouse, except that retirees shall contribute towards their health insurance coverage premiums at the relevant percentage set forth by Chapter 78, Tier 4 (based upon the percentage applicable to the range within which the retiree’s annual retirement allowance, and any future cost of living adjustmens thereto, falls) reduced by 12% (consistent with Article XXXIII, Section 1). However, for those retirees hired after May 21, 2010, the minimum contribution shall be 1.5% of his/her annual retirement allowance. Moreover, consistent with applicable law, those who retire on a PFRS Disability Pension shall not be required to make any contribution towards the cost of such coverage. This benefit shall be provided and maintained by the Borough until the retiree and/or his spouse has insurance coverage available from another source including, but not limited to, another employer. The retiree and spouse are obligated to notify the Borough in writing when other health insurance coverage is available. The continued coverage is divisible; e.g., if a new employer provided health insurance but not dental insurance, the Borough would continue to provide dental insurance. Section 2. The Borough agrees, as to any employee who retires during the term of this contract, to extend the coverage provided in Section 1 hereof to the retiree's unemancipated children who are under age 19 or who are full time students under the age of 25. Section 3. Employees, while rendering aid outside of their jurisdiction, shall be fully covered by worker's compensation and liability insurance and pension as provided by the state law.
