Return from Job Sharing Leave. Participants in a job-sharing program shall submit written notice by March 1st of their intent to return to full-time employment. Upon return the teacher(s) shall be returned to his/her former position, seniority permitting, if the position still exists or to a mutually agreed upon position. Such return rights shall be applicable for two (2) years. If the leave extends for more than two (2) years, the teacher shall be returned to a comparable position upon his/her return to full-time employment. Comparable position shall mean a position at the same level (elementary or middle school) and the same grade for elementary or subject area assignment for middle school.
