Room Assignment Residents are assigned to a room by the Graduate House Office in its sole and absolute discretion. Room assignments are subject to change at staff discretion. During the application process applicants will have the opportunity to indicate roommate preferences. In cases where a roommate preference is not indicated, the Residence will assign a roommate based on roommate profile preferences. The Graduate House Office cannot guarantee roommate preferences will be met. Applicants will have the opportunity to submit any special accommodation requests during the application process. In order to increase the likelihood that accommodations can be met, special accommodations requests should be submitted by the application deadline. The provision of all reasonable accommodations and services is assessed based on the current impact of the accessibility need on residence living.

Room Assignment Residents are assigned to a room by Student Housing & Residence Life in its sole and absolute discretion. Residents are assigned to roommates of the same gender, unless they have indicated on their application that they approve of being placed in a mixed gender unit. Indicating interest in a mixed gender unit does not guarantee placement in such a unit. (i) First Year Room Assignment During the application process, first year applicants will have the opportunity to rank their preferences for style of housing, but will not be able to indicate building or roommate preferences. Housing style preferences are not guaranteed. Room assignments are completed by Student Housing & Residence Life professional staff and subject to change. Applicants will have the opportunity to indicate if they are interested in living in a same or mixed gender unit as well as submit any personalized accommodation requests during the application process. It is recommended that the applicant submit their personalized accommodation request by the application deadline to better ensure that every effort is made to accommodate. First Year students who are accepted to live in a Living Learning Community will be placed by Student Housing & Residence Life professional staff in a designated area of housing, which may impact preferences for style of housing. Student Housing & Residence Life reserves the right to convert Super Single bedrooms (single occupancy) into double occupancy, if necessary, due to the number of applications, the provincial housing crisis or other contributing emergent factors. (ii) Upper Year Room Assignment Upper year students who have an offer of residence are permitted to indicate roommate requests on their application between May 13 and June 24, 2024. Category B applicants may have the ability to select their room/area if they have a guarantee.   • Room Assignment The Landlord will assign rooms in accordance with the current assignment practice set by Residence Services. The Landlord reserves the right to transfer or move Tenants when deemed necessary. Tenants failing to arrive within 48 hours of the specified move-in date, without informing Residence Services of the delay, will lose their room assignment.

  • Overtime Assignment A. In institutional settings when the Agency determines that overtime is necessary, overtime shall be offered on a rotating basis, to the qualified employees who usually work the shift where the opportunity occurs. If no qualified employees on the shift desire to work the overtime, it will be offered on a rotating basis first to the qualified employee with the most state seniority at the work site. When there are no volunteers to work the overtime as outlined above, and/or where an emergency exists, reasonable overtime hours may be required by the Agency. Such overtime shall be assigned, on a rotating basis, first to the qualified employee with the least state seniority at the work site. This policy shall not apply to overtime work which is specific to a particular employee’s claim load or specialized work assignment or when the incumbent is required to finish a work assignment.
