ROOM REQUIREMENTS. 11.1. Each workplace shall have a room nominated for use to undertake drug and alcohol testing consistent with this procedure. This room will not normally be the first aid room at a workplace unless a workplace has multiple first aid rooms and the use of a first aid room for the purpose of drug and alcohol testing will not affect the ability of the workplace to respond to a first aid incident.
11.2. The room selected for use must so far as reasonably practicable:
(a) Provide privacy for the Worker being tested including but not limited to:
(i) Have a closing door;
(ii) Not allow for casual visual observation of the testing process by other Workers external to the room e.g. through glass windows;
(iii) Not allow conversations to be casually overheard by other workers;
(b) Be clean and hygienic;
(c) Be free from interruption whilst testing is being undertaken;
(d) Include discrete entry and exit.

ROOM REQUIREMENTS a) Rooms that require double occupancy shall contain two (2) beds.
b) Each room shall contain one television set (color preferred) in good working order, dresser space, not less than two drawers per occupant, all beds shall be equipped with innerspring or foam mattresses, box springs and all necessary linens, blankets, pillows, etc.
c) Each room shall have a private bath, tub, shower or both.
d) Bed linens shall be changed on a daily basis or as per the standards of the Hotel/Hotel industry.
e) Rooms are to be cooled by refrigerated air conditioning and adequately heated in season with an individual temperature control in each room.
f) Rooms shall be provided with daily maid service, to include, but not limited to: clean towels, soap and one clean drinking glass per occupant.
g) Rooms must be neat, clean, free from rodents, insects, in good repair and free from fire and health hazards.
h) Adequate unlimited parking facilities shall be provided at no extra cost to the occupants.
i) All hotels that place individuals in a common corridor room must have a sprinkler system installed and in proper working order (NFPA 101, Chapter 17).
ROOM REQUIREMENTS. ▪ Room size to be reviewed and approved by the City’s IT Department. Size shall be a minimum 12’ x 12’. More room may be required based on the facility. ▪ IT room layout to be reviewed with and approved by the City’s IT Department. ▪ Provide plywood on all walls to 8’ A.F.F., painted white ▪ Provide horizontal cable management along all walls of IT room. Coordinate cable management type (J-hooks, cable tray, etc.) with IT. ▪ Provide 2’ wide cable ladder mounted 18 -24” above racks; traverse room from wall to wall above rack. ▪ Grounding in IT room shall be provided including, but not limited to, equipment racks and cable tray. Provide for “ground bus” in all IT room connected to the main electrical service ground at entrance to building. ▪ Use 568B standard for termination of data / phone cable. ▪ No Cat 6 cable shall exceed 295’ from the ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ to the IT room. If cabling exceeds this distance, an additional IT room will be required to accommodate these lines. Any additional IT rooms shall have a singlemode fiber backbone back to the main IT room. ▪ Terminate, test, certify, and document all CCTV cabling. ▪ Terminate, test, certify, and document all voice/data cabling to manufacturer’s Category 6 standards. ▪ Label all phone/data jacks and patch panels to City specifications. Coordinate labeling method with Overland Park IT contact. ▪ All data, phone, and CCTV cable to be plenum rated. ▪ Provide 5’ service loop in network/phone closet for all data, phone, and CCTV cables. ▪ Provide 2U space between patch panels for switch (rack layout should be as follows starting at top of rack and repeating as necessary to accommodate termination of all horizontal cat 6 cabling: Fiber Termination Panel / 1U patch panel / space for 2U switch / 1U patch panel / space for 2U switch / ………) ▪ CCTV patch panels shall be separated from data and phone patch panels ▪ Review and coordinate UPS and backup power requirements for each rack/system with City IT department. ▪ Plumbing lines shall not run through IT room. ▪ Cooling and lighting requirements shall be coordinated w/ the City’s IT department.
ROOM REQUIREMENTS a) The required minimum floor area is 11 feet by 14 feet (3.3 meters by 4.3 meters). See attached floor plan (Figure 1) for door, electrical, cabinet, and sink placement options, a plan view of the System and the recommended layout and dimensions for the laser room.
b) The surface of the walls and ceiling should not produce dust from wallpaper and other coverings.
c) Linoleum or tile should be used instead of carpet for flooring, then sealed and waxed to reduce dust. The floor must be a solid foundation capable of supporting the 800 pound (363 kilograms) System weight.
d) The door of the surgery room must be lockable with a rubber wiper on the bottom to form a seal. A sink in the room is recommended, but not required.
ROOM REQUIREMENTS. The commercial lodging facility shall furnish lodging accommodations for the 302nd ALW at PAFB on an as needed reservation basis. The performance standard and requirements for these services include the following responsibilities:
J.1 All rooms shall be provided as specified by ▇▇▇▇▇ 34-135. J.2 Pricing shall be in accordance with Section D above.
