Sabbatical Leave for Individual Projects. The applicant shall include a detailed plan specifying the following: 1) how the project will benefit the pupils and the schools of the district; 2) a detailed schedule of the time to be spent on the project; 3) the name and position of the supervisor and a statement from that person that the work to be done will be the equivalent of 12 units per semester of leave. Evidence of completion of the project shall include at least the following: a. a log book or daily journal, slides, photographs, or charts to show states of development, b. verification of completed work by the supervisor, and c. tangible evidence of completed project. If professional growth credit is requested, this determination shall be made by the Superintendent.
