Safe Rostering Practices. The parties agree to work together to review Rostering Practices, having regard for the principles contained in the AMA National Code of Practice - Hours of Work, Shiftwork and Rostering for Hospital Doctors, March 1999, in an endeavour to reconcile Occupational Safety and Health requirements with the service needs of Hospitals and training requirements and obligations.

Safe Rostering Practices. Where an Employee other than a part-time Employee (part-time Employees must have a set pattern of work under sub-clause 19.3(c)) does not have a set pattern of work, in setting a roster, the Employer will ensure that the number of changes to the Employee’s start and finish times are reasonable.
