SAFETY AND HEALTH REGULATIONS. The Contractor shall comply with the Department of Labor Safety & Health Regulations for construction promulgated under the Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970, (PL 91-596) and under Section 107 of the Contract Work Hours & Safety Standards Act (PL 91-54). All equipment furnished and installed under this contract shall comply with Part 1910, Occupational Safety & Health Standards & Amendments thereto. GR-14 PERMITS AND FEES Construction in County or State Department of Transportation rights-of-way and construction in wetlands and navigable water bodies will be governed by applicable County, State and Federal permits. All conditions set forth on the permits shall be a part of the contract and they shall be attached by addendum.
SAFETY AND HEALTH REGULATIONS. The Contract is to be governed at all times by applicable provisions of federal law, including but not limited to the following: Xxxxxxx-Xxxxxxx Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Public Law 91-596. Part 1910 - Occupational Safety and Health Standards, Chapter XIII of title 29, code of federal Regulations. Nothing contained in the Contract shall be construed as relieving Contractor in any way of Contractor’s responsibility for strict compliance with all governmental requirements pertaining to health and safety.
SAFETY AND HEALTH REGULATIONS. Seller represents and certifies to Buyer that any and all services performed and any goods delivered under this Purchase Order shall comply with all requirements of any applicable health or safety statute or regulation of any government or regulatory body having jurisdiction in the location from or to which such items are to be shipped or at which such work is to be performed pursuant to this Purchase Order. Xxxxxx agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Buyer against any claims, losses, damages, fines, penalties, costs and expenses assessed against or incurred by Xxxxx as a result of Seller’s failure to comply with such statutes or regulations, and with all rules, standards, or orders issued thereunder, and for the failure of the goods or services furnished under this Purchase Order to so comply.
SAFETY AND HEALTH REGULATIONS. 17.1 The project is subject to all of the Safety and Health Regulations as promulgated by the United States Department of Labor (Title 29, Part 1926/1910 CFR, 1985 revisions); the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 327 et seq.) as supplemented by the Department of Labor Regulations (Title 29 CFR Part 5); and OSHA 2207, 1983 revisions; and all subsequent amendments thereto. Contractors are urged to make themselves familiar with the requirements of these regulations.

While on the premises of City or Owner, Contractor and its employees shall comply with all applicable safety and health laws, regulations, and ordinances and with the safety, health, and plant regulations of City and Owner, and shall ensure that all of its employees and agents have a safe place of work on said premises. Contractor shall keep said premises and the vicinity thereof clean of debris and rubbish caused by its work and, upon completion of its work, shall leave the premises clean and ready for use. Upon request of City or Owner, and at no cost or expense to City or Owner, Contractor shall promptly remove from said premises any person under the control of Contractor who violates any of the aforesaid safety, health, or plant laws, regulations, ordinances, or rules or who may cause or threaten to cause a breach of the peace, or who is otherwise objectionable to City or Owner.
SAFETY AND HEALTH REGULATIONS. 27.1 The CONTRACTOR alone is responsible for the safety, efficiency, and adequacy of CONTRACTOR’s plant, appliances, and methods and for any damage which may result from the failure or the improper construction, maintenance, or operation.
