Scheduled Vacations. (a) Every consideration shall be made to accommodate an employee's first choice for a vacation period with due consideration for the requirements of efficient operation. (b) The scheduling and taking of vacations shall be on a calendar year basis. (c) The calendar year in which an employee's first anniversary falls shall be the first vacation year. For the purpose of additional leave entitlement, an employee commences earning additional vacation days in the fourth vacation year and each succeeding vacation year in accordance with Article 22.02.
