School Nurse Caseloads. In order to effectively serve the staff and student population, nurse staffing will be reviewed annually by the District and Lead Nurse to determine staffing needs. The District shall maintain a Nurse to student ratio average of 2,381 students. Assignments will be determined as outlined in Article 11.7.
School Nurse Caseloads. 6.4.1.1 Effective June 30, 2020, the maximum caseload for school nurses shall be twenty-four hundred (2400) students per 1.0 FTE school nurse. The Parties understand that several nurse assignments may have lesser numbers of students given the severity of medical needs at various sites.

Ten (10) extended days are added to the School Nurse contract in order to complete paperwork and compliance responsibilities. These days must be documented on the Extended Day Verification Form (Appendix K) and submitted by May 1.
