Scientific exchange. 3.2.3.1. Interaction with other European Commission-funded projects PRECIOUS will actively seek links and interaction(s) with other EC-funded projects in the areas of future networks, sensors, preventive health and personalised health. Currently, the following projects have been identified, and will be approached to discuss sharing of disseminated materials, for example project newsletters, and the possibility of developing collaborative dissemination activities, such as joint workshops: • QuaLiFY, grant agreement number: FP7-6137832 • SPLENDID, grant agreement number: FP7-6107463 • SimpleSkin, grant agreement number: FP7-3238494 • Internet of Things – Architecture, grant agreement number: FP7-2575215 • XXXXXX, xxxxx agreement number: FP7-2879016 It is expected that additional projects will be identified throughout the duration of PRECIOUS, and this document updated accordingly. As suggested by the reviewers and of special interest for the consortium are funded projects of H2020 PHC 26. All of these projects will be investigated regarding its relevance to PRECIOUS and linkage possibilities. In addition to disseminating information, this activity will allow consortia to seek synergies with each other, and exploit opportunities for future research or business ventures.

Scientific exchange. The Parties will encourage the development of cooperation in the fields of science, technology and innovations between scientific institutes, universities and other research organizations of the two countries. The Parties will encourage the development of scientific cooperation by: - financing up to five (5) joint research projects per year, taking into account their possibilities for involvement in the EU’s scientific programme; the Parties will mutually agree on the fields and topics for the selection and financing of bilateral research projects; - exchanging of scientists and experts that will be involved in the implementation of the joint projects referred to in Article 1 herein; - exchanging of experience and publications in the fields of science and technology; - joint organization of scientific seminars, roundtables etc.; - encouraging of joint participation of partnering scientific institutions and universities of the two countries in projects under the European Framework Programme for Research and Innovations, ‘Horizon 2020’; - any other mutually agreed forms of scientific and technological cooperation.

The considered projects where selected based on their relevance to PRECIOUS and linkage possibilities. This would allow the PRECIOUS consortia to seek synergies with each other, and exploit opportunities for future research or business ventures. To that end, several formal and informal engagements where implemented with different external projects at different periods of the PRECIOUS project lifetime. The following EC-funded projects where considered to have the strongest links to PRECIOUS:  FP7 QuaLiFY (Quantify Life – Feed Yourself)11  FP7 XXXXXX (Data-as-a-Service Platform for Healthy Lifestyle and Preventive Medicine)12  H2020 RICHFIELDS (Research Infrastructure on Consumer Health and Food Intake for E-science with Linked Data Sharing)13 A summary of some of the synergistic activities with these projects is presented in Table …. Partner EC-funded Project Synergies or links with PRECIOUS FP7 QuaLiFY  Collaboration have been formalized with NDA signed to further deepen exchange of results and utilisation of platforms.  Agreement to share information and SW deliverables, as well as, leveraging of respective platforms for service delivery (e.g. linking to the FP7 QUALIFY Quisper platform).  PRECIOUS project was presented at a QUALiFY consortium meeting (29th June – 1st July 2015).   • Shift Exchange The Employer and the Union agree that shift exchanges are a useful process to allow employees more flexibility and improved work/life balance. Employees within an institution who have the same job classification will be allowed to exchange full shifts for positions in which they are qualified. The shift exchange process will not be used to circumvent the bid system or the supervisory chain of command. Shift exchanges will be in accordance with the following:

Exchange teaching shall be limited to accredited public school systems, colleges and universities or similar institutions. The cooperating school system, college or university must furnish an employee to take the place of the employee released by the Board. The released employee shall draw full salary plus the value of any supplements performed by the cooperating employee. Application for exchange teaching for the next school year must be made by April 15.

  • CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier Any Local Exchange Carrier other than Frontier that is operating as a Local Exchange Carrier in the territory in which Frontier operates as an ILEC in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Onvoy is or shortly will become a CLEC.

  • Professional Development Day The Employees shall be entitled to spend three (3) working days with pay for the purpose of doing research and preparation related to their work at a date mutually acceptable to the Employer and the Employee.

  • Shift Exchanges In no event shall any overtime be payable as a result of employees voluntarily exchanging shifts.

  • CONSULTATION REGARDING MAJOR WORKPLACE CHANGE 8.1 Consultation Prior to a Definite Decision Being Made

  • Trunk Data Exchange 65.9.1 Each Party agrees to service trunk groups to the blocking criteria in Section 64.3.4 in a timely manner when trunk groups exceed measured blocking thresholds on an average time consistent busy hour for a twenty- one (21) Day study period. The Parties agree that twenty-one (21) Days is the study period duration objective unless mutually agreed otherwise. The study period will not include a holiday.
