SEASONAL PERIOD. The seasonal period shall be defined as the period October 1st through December 31st, inclusive, of any year. A seasonal employee is a full-time temporary employee who is hired between October 1st, and December 31st, inclusive, of any year, and shall not accrue seniority or service credit for any purpose during this period. Any full-time employee hired prior to October 1st of any year shall continue to accrue seniority during this seasonal period in accordance with the seniority provision of this agreement.

SEASONAL PERIOD. The definition of "Seasonal Period" in the Appendix --------------- to the Loan Agreement is hereby deleted in its entirety and replacing it the following new definition: Seasonal Period - A period each year during which the Total Credit --------------- Facility is increased, beginning on or after October 1 but not later than December 1 of each year and continuing until six months after commencement of such Seasonal Period. Each year the Seasonal Period shall commence upon the date of the first Loan which, together with all other Loans then outstanding, exceeds $95,000,000. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, however, the Seasonal Period beginning December 1, 1999 shall extend through August 31, 2000.

  • Meal Period Employees shall receive a meal period which shall commence no less than two (2) hours nor more than five (5) hours from the beginning of the employee's regular shift or when the employee is called in to work on their regular day off. The meal period shall be no less than one-half (½) hour nor more than one (1) hour in duration and shall be without compensation. Should an employee be required to work in excess of five (5) continuous hours from the commencement of their regular shift without being provided a meal period, the employee shall be compensated two (2) times the employee's straight-time hourly rate of pay for the time worked during their normal meal period and be afforded a meal period at the first available opportunity during working hours without compensation.

  • Transitional Period At the end of the transitional period as defined in Article 10(2) of the Directive, the contracting parties shall cease to apply the withholding/retention tax and revenue sharing provided for in this Agreement and shall apply in respect of the other contracting party the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive. If during the transitional period either of the contracting parties elects to apply the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive it shall no longer apply the withholding/retention tax and the revenue sharing provided for in Article 9 of this Agreement.

  • No-­‐Activation Period Registry Operator shall not activate any names in the DNS zone for the Registry TLD (except for "NIC") until at least 120 calendar days after the effective date of this agreement. Registry Operator may allocate names (subject to subsection 6.2 below) during this period only if Registry Operator causes registrants to be clearly informed of the inability to activate names until the No-­‐Activation Period ends.

  • MEAL PERIODS AND REST BREAKS 4.1 Except when required for urgent or emergency work and except as provided in 4.2 no employee shall be required to work for more than five hours continuously without being allowed a meal break of not less than half an hour. 4.2 An employee unable to be relieved from work for a meal break shall be allowed to have a meal on duty and this period shall be regarded as working time. 4.3 Except where provided for in 4.2 an employee unable to take a meal after five hours’ duty shall be paid at overtime rates from the expiry of five hours until the time when a meal can be taken. 4.4 During the meal break or rest breaks prescribed above, free tea, coffee, milk and sugar shall be supplied by the employer. Where it is impractical to supply tea, coffee, milk and sugar free of charge, an allowance of $1.48 per week in lieu shall be paid. This allowance shall continue during all periods of leave except leave without pay. 4.5 Rest breaks of 10 minutes each for morning tea, afternoon tea or supper, where these occur during duty, shall be allowed as time worked.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as close as possible to the middle of the scheduled hours of work. The length of the meal period shall be agreed to at the local level and shall be not less than 30 minutes nor more than 60 minutes. (b) An employee shall be entitled to take their meal period away from the workstation. Where this cannot be done, the meal period shall be considered as time worked.

  • Xxxxx Period After payment of the first Dues, the Subscriber is entitled to a grace period of 30 days for the payment of any Dues due. During this grace period, the Agreement will remain in force. However, the Subscriber will be liable for payment of Dues accruing during the period the Agreement continues in force.
