Second Tier. Full-time employees will receive an increment of $11.44 5 per semester unit, per month for each earned, approved unit of work 6 completed an accredited university, college, or community college, up 7 to a maximum of thirty-five (35) approved credited units. Units taken 8 must be applicable to a requirement for a Bachelors degree, Masters 9 degree, and/or a teaching credential. Unit(s) of work must be verified 10 by transcript or grade card. For those employees who work less than 11 eight (8) hours per day, professional growth pay will be on a prorated 12 basis.
13 (1) Effective July 1, 2019, employee of The Learning Connection 14 shall be eligible to receive credit for units of work completed 15 during employment after completion of five (5) continuous years 16 of service with the District.
Second Tier. If the position is not filled through the first tier, the most senior LEAO member in a higher classification, will move down from the higher classification to the vacant position.
Second Tier. Agilent shall provide second tier service support for LipoScience customers for the Vantera Analyzer for issues which LipoScience is unable to resolve through first tier support. Agilent will provide such support by telephone, instrument remote access, or e-mail to LipoScience support personnel or, at the mutual agreement of LipoScience and Agilent, directly to the LipoScience customer. LipoScience agrees to use commercially reasonable efforts to address customer support issues prior to requesting such assistance from Agilent. Second tier support shall be provided by Agilent at no additional cost during the applicable warranty period and shall be billed to LipoScience at Agilent’s standard then-current rates thereafter.
Second Tier. Under the second tier, the Plan Administrator will allocate any remaining Nonelective Contribution in the same ratio that each Participant's Excess Compensation bears to the total Excess Compensation of all Participants, but in an amount not exceeding % of each Participant's Excess Compensation receiving an allocation under this second tier. For purposes of this second tier allocation, Excess Compensation means Compensation in excess of: $ .
Second Tier. Full-time employees will receive an increment of 23 $10.70 per semester unit, per month for each earned, approved unit 24 of work completed an accredited university, college, or community 25 college, up to a maximum of thirty-five (35) approved credited units.
Second Tier. Thereafter, each of Solus and Brigade shall purchase New Preferred Stock not otherwise subscribed for in the Rights Offering in the following percentage amounts – Solus 62.5% and Brigade 37.5% - until such time as Solus and Brigade have purchased Series A Preferred Stock in the second tier with an aggregate purchase price of Eight Million Dollars ($8,000,000). Third Tier: Thereafter, each of MFC, the Xxxxxxxxxxx Parties (on a several and not joint basis), Brigade and Solus shall purchase New Preferred Stock not otherwise subscribed for in the Rights Offering in the following percentage amounts – MFC 35%, the Xxxxxxxxxxx Parties 15% (on a several and not joint basis), Brigade 25% and Solus 25% - until such time as each of the Put Parties has purchased its Preferred Stock Allocated Amount. Each Put Party shall be limited to its New Preferred Stock Allocated Amount and there shall be no over subscription right or obligation with respect to the New Preferred Stock. Allocations among the MFC entities, Xxxxxxxxxxx entities, Brigade entities and Solus entities in each tier shall be in proportion to their New Preferred Stock Allocated Amounts.
Second Tier. 1. Employees hired into a safety classification on or after October 10, 2012, but before January 1, 2013, shall receive the 3% at 55 retirement formula pursuant to California Government Code Section 21363.1.
a. Employees covered hereunder shall pay, on a pre-tax basis, the nine percent (9%) statutorily required member contribution to CalPERS.
b. The City has passed a resolution setting forth that all deductions or contributions under this Section shall be regarded as a pick-up of retirement costs pursuant IRC 414(h)(2).
c. Second tier benefits are available only to “classic” members (i.e., those members that do not meet the statutory definition of “new member” under the California Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act (“PEPRA”), specifically Government Code section 7522.04(f) and hired on or after October 10, 2012, but before January 1, 2013.
Second Tier. City agrees to pay each Non-Safety employee, who has accumulated 960 hours of sick leave credit, 100% of sick leave credits earned but unused during the following twelve-month period (which exceed the 960 hour sick leave accrual limit.) When Non-Safety employee’s sick leave has reached the maximum accrual of 960 hours, employee shall register the date with the Finance Department. Non- Safety employee will then be allowed to register (but not accrue) the equivalent of eight additional hours per month or 96 hours during the twelve month period, for purposes of this benefit only. Non-Safety employee would be eligible to receive payment for a maximum of 96 hours.
i. If Non-Safety employee uses sick leave during the 12-month period in which sick leave is being registered, sick leave hours shall first be deducted from any registered hours above the 960 hour maximum. Non-Safety employee shall then be eligible to receive sick leave incentive for any hours that are still registered, but unused.
ii. If Non-Safety employee uses more sick leave than those that have been registered above the 960 maximum, those sick leave hours would then be deducted from the 960 hour balance. Non- Safety employee shall no longer be eligible for this sick leave incentive until Non-Safety employee has once again reached the 960 hour maximum. Non-Safety employee shall then register the new date and start again to register additional sick leave hours.
iii. At the conclusion of the 12 month period, Non-Safety employee shall have the option of receiving sick leave incentive payment immediately, or waiting until December to receive payment with those other Non-Safety employees who are receiving sick leave incentive for reaching the first tier.

Second Tier. If the Unions cannot provide the Employers in the attainment of a sufficient number of Local Residents from within the First Tier zip codes, the Unions shall exert their best efforts to then recruit and identify for referral residents residing in Second Tier zip codes which reflect the Gateway Cities, as set forth in “Attachment B” attached hereto.
