Section 1113. Medical/Dental Expense Account. The Employer agrees to allow insurance 20 eligible supervisors to participate in a medical and dental expense reimbursement program to 21 cover co-payments, deductibles and other medical and dental expenses or expenses for services 22 not covered by health or dental insurance on a pre-tax basis as permitted by law or regulation, up 23 to maximum of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) per in calendar year 2012. Effective January 1, 24 2013 and thereafter, the maximum reimbursement shall be two thousand five hundred dollars 25 ($2,500.00).
Section 1113. 8 The FTE count for both pool generation and pool distribution is closed with the submission of the 9 S275 Report. All employees subject to this Agreement who are hired after October 1 of each year 10 shall be entitled to the amount defined in Section 11.1 per FTE based upon 1,440 hours of work, 11 and not participate in the insurance premium pool. Further, except for addition of new 12 dependents, enrollment for dependents closes with the expiration of the open enrollment insurance 13 period each October.
Section 1113. 26 Newly hired employees shall enjoy the benefit of Section 11.1. after working thirty (30) 27 consecutive workdays. Any employee who works eleven (11) working days (any paid time) in any 28 calendar month shall enjoy the benefit of Section 11.1. 29

Section 1113. 9 Sections 11.1, 11.1.1, 11.1.2.and 16.8 shall expire December 31, 2019. Beginning January 1, 10 2020, the District shall provide basic and optional benefits through the School Employees 11 Benefits Board (SEBB) under the rules and regulations adopted by the SEBB.
