Section 16.7. 27 In the event a building administrator has assigned school coordinator responsibilities to any one 28 paraeducator for one (1) hour or more per day for the purpose of duty-free lunch and mandatory break 29 coverage, that paraeducator will receive the assistant secretary rate of pay for that hour of coverage at 30 the nearest step that provides a wage increase of at least three (3%) percent.
Section 16.7. 23 Any specialized equipment and clothing required for the performance of duties shall be provided by 24 the District. Maintenance, Grounds/Maintenance, Mechanics, and Custodians will be provided 25 uniforms. Food Service shall be provided smocks and/or aprons, and gloves, which will be cleaned on 26 site. Each mechanic will receive a stipend for seven hundred fifty dollars ($750) per fiscal year for tool 27 allowance as a separate line entry on their October check with the understanding that if the employee 28 resigns/retires prior to August 31 of that year, the stipend will be prorated on months worked. Each 29 mechanic, grounds person, maintenance, warehouseperson, and food service warehouseperson will 30 receive a stipend for two hundred dollars ($200) per fiscal year for boot allowance as a separate line 31 entry on their October check with the understanding that if the employee resigns/retires prior to August 32 31 of that year, the stipend will be prorated on months worked.
Section 16.7. 27 Bargaining unit substitute employees and new employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s 28 License as a condition of employment shall be reimbursed for actual out-of-pocket Commercial Driver’s 29 License expenses not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200) after working one hundred (100) hours for 30 the District and an additional two hundred and twenty-five dollars ($225) after working an additional 31 one hundred (100) hours for the District. The total hours and total reimbursement for this benefit is four 32 hundred and twenty-five dollars ($425) for two hundred (200) hours of work for the District as a bus 33 driver.
