Section 20.14. 24 The District will reimburse the renewal fee for all bus drivers that hold a CDL “S” endorsement and 25 other employees who are required by the district to hold a CDL. The Sedro-Xxxxxxx School District 26 will reimburse CDL and or CDL “S” drivers for one (1) DOT physical every two (2) years. The 27 District will reimburse newly trained substitute bus drivers after one year of substituting for the DOT 28 physical and CDL license and have not refused more than five (5) offers of work in a school year. If 29 any substitute driver refuses more than five offers of work in a school year, the district will not 30 reimburse their DOT physical or CDL license fees if required to be renewed that school year. Newly 31 trained substitute drivers must submit all original receipts to the Business Office for reimbursement. 32 The cost of fingerprinting will still be the responsibility of the employee.

Section 20.14. 1 11 In the event of underpayment, correction will be made on the employee's next paycheck 12 if the error is brought to the District's attention by the fifth of the month; otherwise, on 13 the following paycheck.
Section 20.14. 3 21 If overpayment amounts to twenty percent (20%) or more of an employee's check, 22 deduction may be prorated over a twelve (12) month period provided the employee 23 remains so long employed.

Section 20.14. Bus drivers shall be paid four and one-half (4-1/2) hours for the purposes of reviewing 40 routes and practicing driving them, cleaning, organizing, correcting run sheets, and calling parents, 41 before school begins in September and for the annual bid in November. 43 Drivers changing runs outside of the November bid process will be paid one (1) hour for the 44 purpose of practicing routes. 45 46 Following the end of each school year, drivers will be given the opportunity to clean their own bus.
Section 20.14. 35 Bus drivers shall be paid a total of four and one-half (4½) hours annually, paid in September for the 36 purposes of reviewing routes and conducting a practice run in a bus, cleaning, organizing, correcting run 37 sheets, and calling parents as needed throughout the year. If a driver does not complete this work within 38 the allocated four and a half (4½) hours, the driver will meet in advance with the Director of 39 Transportation to request extended paid time. 41 Drivers changing runs will be paid one (1) hour for the purpose of practicing routes in a bus. 42 43 Following the end of each school year, drivers will be given the opportunity to clean their own bus. 44 Drivers will be paid four and one half (4½) hours for cleaning buses with a capacity of less than forty two 45 (42) passengers. Drivers will be paid six (6) hours for cleaning all other buses. 47 Those drivers who choose not to clean their bus must notify the Transportation Supervisor three (3) weeks 48 prior to the end of the school year. The Transportation Supervisor will post hours and rules for bidding of 1 unassigned/spare busses first. Hours will be awarded on a seniority basis. After all unassigned/spare 2 busses have been bid and awarded for cleaning, the Transportation Supervisor will post hours and rules for 3 bidding of assigned busses from those drivers who chose not to clean their own bus. Hours will be 5 responsible for cleaning his/her bus.

  • Section 21 25 It is agreed that the customary and usual rights, powers, functions, and authority of management are 26 vested in management officials of the District. Included in these rights in accordance with and subject to 27 applicable laws, regulations, and provisions of this Agreement, is the right to direct the work force, the 28 right to hire, promote, retain, transfer, and assign employees in positions; the right to suspend, discharge, 29 demote, or take other disciplinary action against employees; and the right to release employees from 30 duties because of lack of work or for other legitimate reasons. The District shall retain the right to 31 maintain efficiency of the District operation by determining the methods, means, and the personnel by 32 which such operation is conducted.

  • Section 2.2 17 The right to make reasonable rules and regulations shall be considered acknowledged functions of the 18 District. In making rules and regulations relating to personnel policies, procedures and practices, and 19 matters of working conditions, the District shall give due regard and consideration to the rights of the 20 Association and the employees and to the obligations imposed by this Agreement. 24 A R T I C L E I I I

  • Section 3.3 36 Employees of the units subject to this Agreement have the right to have Association representatives or 37 other persons present at discussions between themselves and supervisors or other representatives of the 38 District as hereinafter provided. 39

  • Section 3.2 39 Each employee shall have the right to bring matters of personal concern to the attention of appropriate 40 Association representatives and/or appropriate officials of the District.

  • Pursuant to Section 2271 002 of the Texas Government Code, Respondent certifies that either (i) it meets an exemption criteria under Section 2271.002; or (ii) it does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract resulting from this Solicitation. If Respondent refuses to make that certification, Respondent shall state here any facts that make it exempt from the boycott certification: .

  • Section 3.1 29 It is agreed that all employees subject to the Agreement shall have and shall be protected in the exercise of 30 the right, freely and without fear of penalty or reprisal, to join and assist the Association. The freedom of 31 such employees to assist the Association shall be recognized as extending to participation in the 32 management of the Association, including presentation of the views of the Association to the Board of 33 Directors of the District or any other governmental body, group, or individual. The District shall take 34 whatever action required or refrain from such action in order to assure employees that no interference, 35 restraint, coercion, or discrimination is allowed within the District to encourage or discourage membership 36 in any employee organization. 37

  • Section 5.1 6 It is agreed and understood that matters appropriate for consultation and negotiation between the 7 District and the Association are those relating to or affecting hours, wages, grievance procedures and 8 general working conditions of employees in the bargaining unit subject to this agreement.

  • Section 3.4 24 Each employee reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained in this Agreement, 25 exclusive of compensation for services rendered, to appropriate officials of the Association.

  • Section 4.4 10 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein, within the 11 scope of statute, to appropriate officials of the Public School Employees of Washington State 12 Organization.
