CDL License. If the employee has their CDL License disqualified, the employer will hold their position for ninety (90) days to allow for the retesting (as long as the violation for disqualification does not involve alcohol or drugs).
CDL License. The Board will reimburse each bus driver unit member the full CDL license fee. Full payment shall be made the third (3rd) Tuesday of the month following purchase of such license.
CDL License. The District agrees to pay for the extra CDL licensing fees for all regular employed bus drivers.
CDL License. After an employee has been employed by Bellaire Public Schools as a regular driver and has successfully completed the probationary period and has been placed on the seniority list, the Employer will reimburse the driver for the cost of renewing and/or maintaining the required CDL License, including training not to exceed ISD established hours, at the employee’s hourly rate.

The Employer will reimburse drivers for the cost and all time necessary for obtaining a required CDL License, including training not to exceed TBAISD recommended and/or required hours in order to maintain bus driver certification after successfully obtaining the required bus driver CDL license. The Employer has no obligation to reimburse the employee for failed attempts to obtain the CDL License.

Any employee who has previously completed CDL training 14 during the life of this Contract, per the requirements identified above, and has successfully 15 obtained his/her CDL shall be reimbursed the cost of the training by the employer. New 16 employees will have six (6) months to obtain a CDL-A license as a condition to 17 employment.
CDL License. The Board shall pay the difference in cost between a regular driver's license and a CDL license.
CDL License. The Employer shall reimburse all bargaining unit employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License or Water Operator’s License the cost of said license including renewals and any endorsements the employee is required to obtain and maintain.
CDL License. All employees who have the potential to operate vehicles which require a CDL must obtain and maintain a valid CDL License at the appropriate level (“A” or “B” depending on their job class) as a condition of continuing employment. It is further agreed that if an employee fails to obtain the applicable CDL, they will be given two (2) more opportunities within a three (3) month period from the date of the first test to obtain the applicable license. If the employee is disqualified or unable to obtain a CDL due to a documented ADA disability, the City will attempt to reasonably accommodate the employee to the extent that the accommodation is not an undue hardship to the City. It is further agreed that the City will pay the initial CDL license fee.
CDL License. The Company shall continue to pay for CDL license and renewals for employees that are required to have a CDL license.
