Section 8.14.1. 47 When a Reclassification Request Form is received, the Director of Human Resources will 48 notify the employee(s), the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and the President of the 49 Association. Should required information be missing from the form the Director of Human 1 Resources shall return the form to the Employee for resubmittal after the needed information is 2 completed. This shall not count against the annual submittal limit nor initiate the one hundred- 3 twenty (120) day timeline. 5 The Director of Human Resources will convene meetings of the Committee as needed 7 hundred-twenty (120) days of submission except for requests submitted after March 30th. Such 8 requests shall not be considered until after the conclusion of Negotiations. At which point they 9 shall be considered within ninety (90) days. The committee may review documents deemed as 10 necessary or interview the employee or supervisor. If, during negotiations for a new contract or 11 applicable re-opener, a position has been reclassified or bargained over but ultimately not 12 reclassified, a request for reclassification cannot be submitted by an employee for one calendar 13 year from the agreement’s or re-opener’s effective start date.
Section 8.14.1. 45 In the event that a regular Paraeducator Division position increases by two (2) hours or less, 46 employees at the same work site, within the same program and position, shall be offered the 47 opportunity to be assigned the increased hours according to seniority status. A monthly report 1 will be generated and provided to the Union during the school year, reflecting assigned hours 2 per day, by location and seniority for paraeducators,
Section 8.14.1 regular employee may fill the position of another regular employee who is on a leave of 37 absence due to an L & I injury, medical leave, or other District-authorized leave of absence. It 38 shall be the responsibility of the District to inform the employee selected for this temporary 39 route assignment of the status of the driver on leave and the anticipated length of time the 40 driver on leave will be absent from his/her assigned route. 42 Vacancies greater than thirty (30) consecutive work days which require a substitute will be 43 offered to qualified available bargaining unit employees and awarded on a seniority basis.
