Senior Geologist. The Contractor shall propose and submit the resume for one (1) individual to fulfill the Senior Geologist Key Personnel role for projects requiring this discipline. This individual shall be trained and have experience as a geologist to ensure activities, to include plan development, field activities, report writing, designs, etc. are of the quality to meet each project’s performance objectives. The geologist shall have experience in surface and subsurface soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, etc. sampling techniques, as well as aspects of obtaining all types of samples through various drilling and sampling techniques, along with appropriate documentation procedures. Individuals fulfilling the duties of the Geologist for individual Task Orders can be an employee of either the prime or teaming partners, Minimum qualifications for the Senior Geologist are:

Senior Geologist. This individual shall have as a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or geological engineering and shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to the education requirements as stated above. In addition, hydrogeologists shall have specific education, training, and experience appropriate in hydrogeology. This individual will prepare cost estimates for assigned work and monitor expenditures weekly for each of the assigned projects. They will plan subsurface investigations, produce reports summarizing results, and produce technical related designs and studies for assigned projects. The individual will draw scientific conclusions from field investigations based upon sound technical judgment and knowledge and prepare professional technical documents.

Minimum qualifications for the Senior Geologist are:  The individual proposed as the Senior Geologist shall have a college degree (Bachelor’s or above) in geology or geological engineering from an accredited 4-year program.  The individual proposed as the Senior Geologist must have professional registration as a professional geologist.  The individual proposed as the Senior Geologist shall have a minimum of 10 years specialized experience in working in ERS.  The individual proposed as the Senior Geologist can be an employee of the prime or a key teaming partner.

  • Labor-Management Cooperation When an Appointing Authority initiates a planning process or management study which is anticipated to result in layoff, the Appointing Authority will meet and confer with the Local Union during the decision planning phase and again during the implementation planning phase.   • PROFESSORS, TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS 1. An individual who is a resident of a Contracting State immediately before making a visit to the other Contracting State, and who, at the invitation of any university, college, school or other similar educational institution which is recognized by the competent authority in that other Contracting State, visits that other Contracting State for a period not exceeding two years solely for the purpose of teaching or research or both at such educational institution shall be exempt from tax in that other Contracting State on any remuneration for such teaching or research.
