SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY COUNTY. COUNTY shall provide services as described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.

SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY COUNTY. COUNTY shall waive all COUNTY-issued permit fees associated with UNIVERSITY research on COUNTY property. Permit fees shall be waived only when research conducted benefits COUNTY within the scope of this AGREEMENT.
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY COUNTY. A. Billing Functions 1. The County shall send annual MC bills to property owners no later than March 31 of the Calendar Year. A maximum of three follow-up bills/delinquency notices for unpaid balances will be sent during the calendar year. All bills will be sent to the mailing address contained in the County’s property tax records unless otherwise indicated by the MC. 2. The County will only bill for annual MC fees and penalties or interest that accrue on such annual MC fees. The County will not bill for amounts due prior to the MC’s enrollment in the Program or other amounts. 3. The County will only bill for assessments incurred from the time the MC becomes a part of the Program, to the time in which the MC first leaves the program (or becomes inactive in the Program). 4. If the MC leaves the Program, the County will provide the MC with a detailed report of any participating parcel’s outstanding balance(s). This will constitute the County’s final report to the MC and no further tracking or billing by the County will continue. If the MC subsequently returns to the Program, new tracking and billing will commence and the County will not bill for prior balances. B. Billing Schedule

SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY COUNTY. COUNTY shall provide law enforcement dispatch services for CITY as provided in Attachment A, Scope of Services, attached to this Agreement and fully incorporated herein by reference.
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY COUNTY. (A) COUNTY shall furnish CONSULTANT with the design concept for each assigned project. (B) COUNTY shall issue an appropriate work order for each project to be assigned to CONSULTANT. COUNTY shall exercise due care in relaying project requirements to CONSULTANT and shall responsively participate in the work order process defined in Section II (above). (C) COUNTY shall allow CONSULTANT to review all public-accessible data and information (in its Department of Transportation files) that relate to the tasking assigned by each work order. 19 [END OF FEE SCHEDULE] Insurance coverage in a minimum amount set forth herein shall not be construed to relieve CONSULTANT for liability in excess of such coverage, nor shall it preclude COUNTY from taking such other action as is available to it under any other provisions of this Agreement or otherwise in law. CONSULTANT agrees to indemnify and hold harmless COUNTY, its elected or appointed officials, employees or volunteers against any claims, actions, or demands against them, or any of them, and against any damages, liabilities or expenses, including costs of defense and attorney’s fees, for personal injury or death, or for the loss or damage to the property, or any or all of them, to the extent arising out of the performance of this Agreement by CONSULTANT. CONSULTANT affirms that s/he is aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which requires every employer to be insured against liability for the Workers’ Compensation or to undertake self insurance in accordance with the provisions of the Code and CONSULTANT further assures that s/he will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of work under this Agreement. CONSULTANT shall furnish to COUNTY certificate(s) of insurance evidencing Worker’s Compensation Insurance coverage to cover its employees, and CONSULTANT shall require all subconsultants similarly to provide Workers’ Compensation Insurance as required by the Labor Code of the State of California for all of CONSULTANT’S and subconsultants’ employees. CONSULTANT shall furnish to COUNTY certificates of insurance with Automobile Liability/General Liability Endorsements evidencing at a minimum the following: a. Combined single limit bodily injury liability and property damage liability - $1,000,000 each occurrence.
