Common use of Shift Allowance Clause in Contracts

Shift Allowance. (1) Subject to the provisions of sub-clause (5) of this clause, a shift allowance of $140 per month shall be payable to staff members who are shift workers engaged on a regular rotating roster but excluding those who work from Monday to Friday with Saturday and Sunday off. Staff members who are engaged on a regular rotating roster for any period of less than a calendar month shall be paid the monthly shift allowance on a pro-rata basis.

Shift Allowance. Staff members who are engaged on a regular rotating roster for any period of less than a calendar month shall be paid the monthly shift allowance on a pro-rata basisroster.
