Shifts and Schedules. The City shall exercise good faith in establishing work schedules. The City’s functional needs shall prevail in scheduling, provided that;
10.2.1 Changes in work schedules and shift starting times for full-time unit members shall be posted at least one (1) week in advance, except in cases of emergency or unusual circumstances.
10.2.2 City agrees to notify full-time unit members in writing of pending regular transfers or reassignments in work hours or location at least one (1) week in advance, except in cases of emergency or unusual circumstances.
Shifts and Schedules. Employees shall be aware that in the course of their regular duties they may be required to work on various shifts throughout the twenty-four (24) hour period of the day and the seven (7) days of the week.

The Employer shall assign employees with percentage appointments of seventy- five (75) percent or more to shifts based on staffing needs, hours of operation, specific skills of employees, and other legitimate business reasons. The Employer agrees to meet with employees before each school term and break to consider input on the development of these schedules. Jobs will be posted, and nurses will be hired, for a particular shift: 7 either days, evenings, nights, or a variable shift position (a mixture of 8 days, evenings and/or nights). Except for the purpose of participation in an 9 orientation or educational program, or for a Critical Need Night Shift, 10 nurses will not be required to work a different shift than the one for which 11 they were hired. A nurse may agree to be regularly scheduled to work 12 different shifts or agree to be scheduled for other shifts not normally 13 worked. Upon completion of the nurse’s orientation or education program 14 the nurse will be reinstated in the nurse’s former regular shift.

12.2.1 Changes in work schedules and shift starting times for full-time unit members shall be posted at least ten (10) working days in advance of the contemplated changes (or longer, if possible), except in case of emergency, and the Union shall simultaneously be advised of the changes.
12.2.2 Unit members who are interested in being considered for transfer to another assignment may submit a written request, in accordance with established procedures, to their departmental or divisional personnel office, for positions within their department or division, or to the Office of Personnel Resource Management (Office of Personnel) for other positions. The Office of Personnel will provide names of unit members who have made themselves available for transfer to departments submitting requisitions to fill positions. When filling a vacant authorized position, the City may consider unit members for such assignment on the basis of seniority.
Shifts and Schedules. The Daycare shall establish shifts and post work schedules on the Bulletin Board for Bargaining Unit Employees two weeks in advance. The Daycare shall consult the Union in advance before so as to provide the Union with a reasonable opportunity to comment on a material alteration of the Daycare’s scheduling model.
Shifts and Schedules. 16.1: The Parties hereto hereby agree that the established work schedule for members of the bargaining unit assigned road patrol duties shall be twelve (12) hour shifts with the day shift being from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the night shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Working days shall be assigned based on a fixed rotating schedule (commonly referred to as the “Xxxxxx Schedule”). In every two (2) week pay period, employees shall have a work week (inclusive of weekends) consisting of two consecutive (2) days on, two (2) consecutive days off, and three (3) consecutive days on; immediately followed by a work week consisting of two (2) consecutive days off, two (2) consecutive days on, three (3) consecutive days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) off. 16.2: A work schedule shall be posted covering a minimum of twenty-eight (28) calendar days indicating the normal work weekday of every member of the bargaining unit. Leave days shall be posted with the Shift Schedule. Changes may be made in the posted scheduled by the Chief of Police or their designated representative in the event of a department emergency.

Shifts and Schedules. Shifts and schedules will be bid and awarded on a seniority basis approximately every ninety (90) days.
A. The immediate Xxxxxxx shall be responsible for scheduling and posting the schedule.
B. Schedules shall be posted at least one (1) week in advance of the workweek. Changes may be made to an employee’s schedule but in no event will employees be given less than two (2) work days notice excluding weekends preceding the workweek involved. For any changes not in accordance with the foregoing, the affected employee will receive time and one-half (11/2X) for hours worked on the first day of the new schedule.
X. Xxxxxxx shall normally work a five (5) day – eight (8) hour schedule, or such other schedule as best fits the requirements of the work group; however, alternate schedules may be worked by a Xxxxxxx with management approval.
