Sick Leave During Vacation. An employee may substitute sick leave for vacation leave when the employee is hospitalized or receives outpatient medical care for a serious injury or illness while on a scheduled, pre-authorized vacation. Except as otherwise provided above vacations shall be conducted in accord with Personnel Rule 6.8.
