Common use of Sick Leave, Entitlement and Amount Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave, Entitlement and Amount. Effective January 1, 2001, all staff shall accrue days on the basis of one (1) day per month. Sick pay accruals are cumulative from one year to the next. Staff with five (5) or more years of service will be eligible for an emergency advance of up to one (1) year’s equivalent of sick leave under the following circumstances:
