Common use of SICK LEAVE/FUNERAL LEAVE Clause in Contracts

SICK LEAVE/FUNERAL LEAVE. Section 1: Ten (10) days of sick leave per year with full pay shall be granted to each teacher at the beginning of each school year. However, in the event of termination, sick days shall be prorated one day per month worked. Sick leave must be utilized in a minimum of one-half (½) day increments unless the teacher’s absence can be covered at no additional costs to the School District.
