Sick Leave Regulations. 1. Sick leave credit shall be computed on the basis of the employment year beginning August 1 and ending July 31.
Sick Leave Regulations. A. Employees shall be granted sick leave at the rate of one (1) day for each full calendar month from employment. An employee may also opt to take up to 40 personal hours in lieu of unused sick leave.
Sick Leave Regulations. Teachers employed to teach continuously for a school term are full time employees and are entitled to one and one-fourth (1¼) days sick leave per month and cumulative to two hundred seventy (270) days. If a teacher has a serious health condition that makes him/her unable to perform the functions of his/her position and he/she wishes to take leave for this reason, he/she must first use his/her accrued sick leave and then use his/her accrued personal leave to do so. However, any days not covered by sick leave or personal leave will be unpaid.
