Speakers Bureau. We wish to continue our relationship with the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) for services by its Home Town Health program to provide speakers throughout the state to give presentations and distribute literature to community groups about the Arkansas Health Connector, how the ACA works and affects individuals and businesses, and about options for health care coverage available through the Marketplace. This Level One D application seeks funding from April 2014 to September 2014. The ADH divides Arkansas’s 75 counties into five health regions. xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx/programsServices/localPublicHealthOffices/Pages/default.aspx Further, each county has a “Home Town Health” program where local business and professionals who live in the local community team with local consumers to identify local health needs and work toward collaborative solutions. The Home Town Health programs are supported by ADH and include the services of their Public Information (PI) Specialists. PI Specialists live in the region served and, through the local Home Town Health infrastructure within their region, seek to “personalize” Marketplace education within the 75 counties. Home Town Health specialists are critical resources in getting information out while satisfying a multitude of requests for speakers.  IPA Training. It’s essential that IPAs embarking on information missions throughout the state be educated about making positive personal connections, conveying information in the proper manner, and be knowledgeable about the ACA, the Health Insurance Marketplace, and the AHCD. As such, we need to ensure that our agreement with the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE) and the Arkansas Association of Two-Year Colleges (AATYC) remains intact. They have worked diligently to ensure IPAs are properly trained by credentialed college instructors. They will keep abreast of any changes that may require updates to the curriculum and design continuing education curriculum for IPAs who have already received licenses from the AID. The information is delivered via a combination of in-person, online training videos and live video conferencing in preparation for online certification testing. The ADHE and AATYC will continue to design, develop and deliver classroom training. This Level One D request would extend the agreement to September 2014.
Speakers Bureau. In addition to the second round of public meetings where the various vision scenarios are presented and the public is provided with the opportunity to recommend their choices, the LSA Team proposes the development of a PowerPoint presentation and an accompanying brochure about the visioning process and a summary of each of the vision alternatives developed. This presentation could be made at various locations such as the Chamber of Commerce, groups of local and regional planners and engineers, planning commissions or other advocacy groups. The LSA Team could make some of these presentations, but we would make the presentation and script available to others including MPO staff and advisory groups for making presentations and collecting input.
Speakers Bureau. The DCIU Speakers Bureau has made numerous presentations to various audiences since its inception in September. The Speakers Bureau was created as a part of our marketing campaign to help clearly communicate the mission and goals of DCIU and increase awareness of who we are, what we offer and how we can best meet the needs of our educational community. The Speakers Bureau is available to give a 10-20 minute multi-media presentation about our services, which can be modified to fit a particular program, meeting or organization.   • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.

  • Plagiarism The appropriation of another person's ideas, processes, results, or words without giving appropriate credit.

  • DUŠEVNÍ VLASTNICTVÍ a) The Institution and the Investigator acknowledge and agree that the Sponsor shall have exclusive ownership rights to all Study Data, Study results, information, improvements, developments, discoveries, inventions, work, know-how and other rights (whether or not patentable), created, developed, and/or reduced to practice as a result of or in connection with the conduct of the Study and/or the use of the Study Drug or the Confidential Information, together with all intellectual property rights (existing and future) relating thereto (“Intellectual Property”) conceived by the Institution or the Investigator or Study Personnel, solely or jointly with others as a result of work done under this Agreement, to the widest extent possible under applicable law. The Institution and the Investigator shall promptly disclose in writing to PSI and the Sponsor all Intellectual Property made or reduced to practice by the Institution, the Investigator and/or the Study Personnel related to the Study. At the Sponsor's request, the Institution and the Investigator shall cause all rights titles and interests in and to any such Intellectual Property to be assigned to the Sponsor without additional compensation and provide reasonable assistance to obtain patents, including causing the execution of any invention assignment or other documents. b) All parties to this Agreement and Sponsor shall retain all right, title and interest in any Intellectual Property that was owned by such party or Sponsor prior to or apart from the commencement of this Agreement. No a) Zdravotnické zařízení a Hlavní zkoušející uznávají a souhlasí, že Zadavatel bude mít výhradní vlastnická práva ke všem Studijním údajům, výsledkům Studie, informacím, vylepšením, na vývoj, k objevům, vynálezům, dílům, know-how a dalším právům (ať už patentovatelným či nikoli), vytvořeným, vyvinutým, a/nebo uvedeným do praxe v důsledku nebo v souvislosti s prováděním Studie, a/nebo používáním Studijního léku nebo Důvěrných informací společně s právy duševního vlastnictví (stávajícími i budoucími) s nimi souvisejícími (dále jen „Duševní vlastnictví“), které vytvořilo Zdravotnické zařízení, Hlavní zkoušející nebo Studijní personál, samostatně nebo společně s ostatními jako výsledek práce prováděné na základě této Smlouvy, a to v největším možném rozsahu povoleném příslušnými zákonnými předpisy. Zdravotnické zařízení a Hlavní zkoušející budou neprodleně písemně informovat PSI a Zadavatele o veškerém Duševním vlastnictví vytvořeném nebo uvedeném do praxe Zdravotnickým zařízením, Hlavním zkoušejícím a/nebo Studijním personálem v souvislosti se Studií. Na žádost Zadavatele zajistí Zdravotnické zařízení a Hlavní zkoušející převod veškerých práv a zájmů týkajících se Duševního vlastnictví na Zadavatele bez další odměny a poskytnou přiměřenou součinnost k získání patentu včetně zajištění podpisu dokumentů k převodu objevu nebo jiných dokumentů. b) Všechny strany této Smlouvy a Zadavatel si i nadále ponechají veškerá práva, nároky a podíly na jakémkoli Duševním vlastnictví, které daná strana nebo Zadavatel vlastnili před začátkem platnosti této Smlouvy nebo na které license grant or assignment, express or implied, by estoppel or otherwise, is intended by, or shall be inferred from, this Agreement except to the extent necessary for each party to fulfill its obligations under this Agreement or otherwise give effect to this Agreement.

  • Food and Beverages No Exhibitor shall sell or distribute food or beverages of any type without the express, written consent of Management and/or Center.

  • Internships The Hospital may establish internships for the purpose of meeting future projected nursing shortages and/or providing career opportunities where there are no internal qualified candidates for job postings. In such circumstances, the implementation and guidelines of such an arrangement will be determined locally by the Hospital and the Union subject to the following: Internships are designed to develop the Hospital’s staff in order to fill positions for which there are currently no qualified internal candidates and/or for which shortages are predicted within a five (5) year period. Internships enable hospitals to maximize the use of qualified internal staff to meet their human resources needs, while at the same time providing career development opportunities for their employees. To provide direction to the local parties in developing and implementing internship(s) the Ontario Nurses’ Association and Participating Hospitals have agreed to the following principles: (a) The Hospital will establish the expectations for each internship opportunity; (b) There will be an open application process for internship opportunities; (c) The opportunities will be open to currently employed nurses who can demonstrate continuous learning, and a commitment to the Hospital; (d) Nurses who are selected for internship opportunities will commit to continued employment on a mutually determined basis; (e) Initiatives to support selected candidates may include but are not limited to: i) No loss of regular wages while attending a requisite course ii) Paid course fees iii) Paid time for clinical practicums in the Hospital or another clinical site iv) Any other initiatives, as agreed. (f) Part-time nurses will be credited with seniority and service for all such hours paid while participating in these initiatives as provided above.

  • Searchability Offering searchability capabilities on the Directory Services is optional but if offered by the Registry Operator it shall comply with the specification described in this section. 1.10.1 Registry Operator will offer searchability on the web-­‐based Directory Service. 1.10.2 Registry Operator will offer partial match capabilities, at least, on the following fields: domain name, contacts and registrant’s name, and contact and registrant’s postal address, including all the sub-­‐fields described in EPP (e.g., street, city, state or province, etc.). 1.10.3 Registry Operator will offer exact-­‐match capabilities, at least, on the following fields: registrar id, name server name, and name server’s IP address (only applies to IP addresses stored by the registry, i.e., glue records). 1.10.4 Registry Operator will offer Boolean search capabilities supporting, at least, the following logical operators to join a set of search criteria: AND, OR, NOT. 1.10.5 Search results will include domain names matching the search criteria. 1.10.6 Registry Operator will: 1) implement appropriate measures to avoid abuse of this feature (e.g., permitting access only to legitimate authorized users); and 2) ensure the feature is in compliance with any applicable privacy laws or policies.

  • Labor-Management Cooperation When an Appointing Authority initiates a planning process or management study which is anticipated to result in layoff, the Appointing Authority will meet and confer with the Local Union during the decision planning phase and again during the implementation planning phase. The Appointing Authority and the Local Union shall enter into negotiations regarding a Memoranda of Understanding upon request of either party to modify this Agreement regarding the implementation plans which shall include, but are not limited to, the following: • Length of layoff notice; • Job and retraining opportunities; • Alternative placement methods; • Early retirement options pursuant to M.S. 43A.24, Subd. 2(i); • Bumping/vacancy options for part-time employees to preserve their insurance eligibility or contribution; and • Other methods of mitigating layoff or their effect on employees.

  • Training Courses The Employer shall bulletin any training courses and experimental programs for which employees may be selected. The bulletin shall contain the following information: (a) type of course (subjects and material to be covered), (b) time, duration and location of the course, (c) basic minimum qualifications required for applicants. This bulletin shall be posted for a period of two (2) weeks on bulletin boards in all Departments to afford all interested employees an opportunity to apply for such training. The senior qualified applicant shall be selected.

  • STAFF ORIENTATION 4101 The Employer shall provide an appropriate orientation program for nurses newly employed. The orientation program shall include such essential information as policies, nursing procedures, the location of supplies and equipment, fire, safety and disaster plans. Where necessary, orientation shall be provided for nurses moving to a new area of practice. 4102 The Employer shall provide a program of inservice education for nurses pertinent to patient care. 4103 The Employer shall provide, access to reference materials as is required in relation to maintaining current knowledge of general nursing care.
