Specified others. 10 a. Members of the employee’s immediate household; or
11 b. The employee’s spouse, parents, or children as defined in 12 the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (hereafter referred to as the “FMLA”); or
13 c. The employee’s parents-in-law, grandparents and 14 grandchildren as defined in the Oregon Family Leave Act (hereafter referred to as 15 “OFLA”); or
16 d. The employee’s domestic partner as designated in an 17 Affidavit of Domestic Partnership submitted to Employee Benefits; or
18 e. The children and parents of such domestic partner, defined 19 as if the domestic partner was the employee’s spouse.

24 f. Any individual related by blood or affinity whose close association 25 with the employee is the equivalent of a family relationship. This category shall be effective 26 through February 1, 2019, and may be extended during the term of the contract by mutual 27 agreement of the parties.

24 f. Any family member as defined in the Paid Leave Oregon 25 program.
Specified others. 27 Xxxx leave may be used by an employee for the following non- 28 occupational conditions involving the employee or conditions of a:
29 a. Member of the employee’s immediate household; or
30 b. The Employee’s spouse, parent, or children as defined in the 31 federal Family and Medical Leave Act (hereafter referred to as “FMLA”); or
1 c. The employee’s parents-in-law, grandparents or 2 grandchildren as defined in the Oregon Family Leave Act (hereafter referred to as 3 “OFLA”); or
4 d. The employee’s domestic partner as designated in an 5 Affidavit of Domestic Partnership submitted to the Employee Benefits Office; or
6 e. The children and parents of such domestic partner defined as 7 if the domestic partner was the employee’s spouse; or
8 f. Any individual related by blood or affinity whose close 9 association with the employee is the equivalent of a family relationship.
10 g. Any other family members covered under Paid Leave Oregon 11 which are not already included above.
Specified others. 15 Members of the employee’s immediate household, the employee’s 16 spouse or domestic partner, parents, step-parents, children, siblings and step-siblings, 17 step-children, parents-in-law, and the parents, step-parents, siblings and step-siblings 18 of their spouse or domestic partner. The legal meaning of these terms shall be as 19 defined in the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (hereinafter referred to as the 20 FMLA) and the Oregon Family Leave Act (hereinafter referred to as OFLA).

17 d. The employee’s domestic partner as designated in an 18 Affidavit of Domestic Partnership submitted to the Employee Benefits; or
19 e. The children and parents of such domestic partner defined as 20 if the domestic partner was the employee’s spouse; or
21 f. Any individual related by blood or affinity whose close 22 association with the employee is the equivalent of a family relationship. During 23 negotiations for this Agreement, the parties had extensive discussion on clarifying this 24 definition of family relationship. The parties agree to adopt the definition of family resulting 25 from the discussion between Local 88 and County for the General Unit.
