Split Service Pensions Sample Clauses

Split Service Pensions. Current bargaining unit employees with split service will be permitted to convert their non-public safety time into public safety time (for purposes of credited service) if they first pay the difference between the contribution rate that was paid and the contribution rate that would have been paid had the earlier time actually been for public safety.
