Standby Low Census. An employee who is on standby who is called back can be released and put back on stand-by due to low census prior to seeking volunteers.

Standby Low Census. Standby low census is when an employee agrees to or is required, instead of working, to be available for a call in to work during a shift the employee was scheduled to work (applies during a time of low census). Standby low census hours count toward benefits.

Standby Low Census. Employees who are placed on low census on their scheduled shifts may be required by the Employer to be on standby status for the hours of their regular shift. Employees placed on standby shall be compensated $3.25 per hour for each hour on standby. If the employee is called in from standby to work, the employee will receive a minimum of two (2) hours work or pay at the premium rate of time and one-half (1½), and shall not continue to receive standby pay.

Hours within the employee’s regular shift, after the callback guarantee, will be paid at straight time. Hours worked beyond the employee’s regular shift ending time shall be compensated at the overtime rate of time and one- half (1½) the employee’s regular rate of pay.

  • Low Census Low census is defined as a decline in patient care requirements resulting in a temporary staff decrease. During temporary periods of low census, the Employer will 1. Send home Agency nurses. 2. Cancel Overtime shifts. 3. Cancel incentive shifts. 4. Ask for volunteers. 5. Cancel reserve nurses. 6. Cancel part-time nurses working above their assigned FTE.

  • Standby Letters of Credit The Borrower agrees to pay to the Administrative Agent, for the ratable benefit of each Lender with a Revolving Commitment based upon each such Lender’s Revolving Facility Percentage, a fee in respect of each Letter of Credit issued hereunder that is a Standby Letter of Credit for the period from the date of issuance of such Letter of Credit until the expiration date thereof (including any extensions of such expiration date that may be made at the election of the account party or the beneficiary), computed for each day at a rate per annum equal to (A) the Applicable Margin for Revolving Loans that are Eurodollar Loans in effect on such day times (B) the Stated Amount of such Letter of Credit on such day. The foregoing fees shall be payable quarterly in arrears on the last Business Day of each March, June, September and December and on the Revolving Facility Termination Date.

  • Standby An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby, outside the normal working hours for that particular employee, shall receive standby pay in the amount of $2.00 per hour for all hours on standby. Standby pay shall, however, cease where an employee is called into work under Article 15.06 above and works during the period of standby."

  • Standby Pay Standby pay shall be at the rate of four ($4.00) dollars per hour. An additional two dollars ($2) per hour will be paid for all hours of standby assigned by the Employer beyond seventy-five (75) hours in a pay period. Standby pay shall be paid for actual hours on standby prior to reporting for duty. Standby pay shall not be paid when the nurse is receiving the four (4) hour minimum callback guarantee, even though the nurse has returned to standby status.

  • Standby Time All standby time shall be considered as regular hours worked and shall be compensated on a straight time or overtime basis as are other hours worked under this Agreement.

  • Abnormally Low Tenders 35.1 An Abnormally Low Tender is one where the Tender price, in combination with other constituent elements of the Tender, appears unreasonably low to the extent that the Tender price raises material concerns with the Procuring Entity as to the capability of the Tenderer to perform the Contract for the offered Tender price. 35.2 In the event of identification of a potentially Abnormally Low Tender by the evaluation committee, the Procuring Entity shall seek written clarification from the Tenderer, including a detailed price analyses of its Tender price in relation to the subject matter of the contract, scope, delivery schedule, allocation of risks and responsibilities and any other requirements of the tendering document. 35.3 After evaluation of the price analysis, in the event that the Procuring Entity determines that the Tenderer has failed to demonstrate its capability to perform the contract for the offered Tender price, the Procuring Entity shall reject the Tender.

  • Standby Duty (a) An employee shall be on standby duty when required to be available for work outside their normal working hours, and subject to restrictions consistent with the FLSA which would prevent the employee from using the time while on standby duty effectively for the employee’s own purposes. (b) Compensation for standby duty shall be at FLSA-eligible employee’s straight time rate of pay or for FLSA-exempt employees hour for hour compensatory time off. Overtime hours shall be at the appropriate overtime pay rate pursuant to Article 32.
