STUDENT LOCKERS. Students are issued a locker for personal use in keeping books, notebooks, supplies, coats, etc. Students should keep only THEIR items in their locker and use only the locker which they have been issued. They should not give their combination to other students. Students should take good care of their locker. The locker must be kept neat and in good condition. Students should not write on lockers or put any kind of decals or stickers on lockers. Generally, lockers are school property which become the student’s to use, take care of, and respect. Should there be reason to believe that a locker contains items detrimental to the health and welfare of the students or stolen items, a search may be authorized. Should a student have any kind of problem with his locker, it needs to be reported to the office or custodial staff. Locker combinations are changed prior to each school year. All lockers made available for student use on the school premises, including lockers located in the hallways, physical education and athletic dressing rooms, industrial and agricultural education classrooms and the art classrooms, are the property of the school corporation. These lockers are made available for student use in storing school supplies and personal items necessary for use at school, but the lockers are not to be used to store items which cause, or can reasonably be foreseen to cause, an interference with school purposes or an educational function, or which are forbidden by state law or school rules. Although used by students, lockers are the sole property of the Sunman Dearborn School Corp. The school corporation retains the right to inspect the locker and its contents to insure that the locker is being used in accordance with its intended purpose, and to eliminate fire or other hazards, maintain sanitary conditions, attempt to locate lost or stolen materials and to present use of the locker to store prohibited or dangerous materials such as weapons, illegal drugs, or alcohol. In order to implement the school corporation’s policy concerning student lockers, the school board adopts the following rules and regulations:

  • Originating Goods For the purposes of this Agreement, a good shall be treated as an originating good if it is: (a) wholly obtained or produced in a Party as provided in Article 3.3 (Goods Wholly Obtained or Produced); (b) produced in a Party exclusively from originating materials from one or more of the Parties; or (c) produced in a Party using non-originating materials, provided the good satisfies the applicable requirements set out in Annex 3A (Product-Specific Rules), and meets all other applicable requirements of this Chapter.

  • Summer Session A. All ASEs employed in the Summer Session shall receive the same general range adjustment as ASEs received in the preceding Fall term. B. The following articles apply to ASEs who are employed in the summer session: Recognition, Wages (range adjustment only), DCP, Travel, Health and Safety, Leaves, Holidays, Duration, Workspace and Instructional Support, Parking, Grievance and Arbitration, Waiver, Management and Academic Rights, No Strikes, Non-Discrimination, Union Access and Rights, Union Security, Discipline and Dismissal, Emergency Layoff, Employment Files and Evaluations, Definitions, Severability, Labor-Management Meetings, and Classifications. C. The remainder of the articles in the agreement does not apply to ASEs who are employed in the summer session. D. The topic of Summer Session, and effects of changes on terms and conditions of employment for ASEs employed in Summer Session, shall be reopened for bargaining commencing no later than January 2, 2001.

  • STUDENT TUITION RECOVERY FUND “The State of California established the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) to relieve or mitigate economic loss suffered by a student in an educational program at a qualifying institution, who is or was a California resident while enrolled, or was enrolled in a residency program, if the student enrolled in the institution, prepaid tuition, and suffered an economic loss. Unless relieved of the obligation to do so, you must pay the state-imposed assessment for the STRF, or it must be paid on your behalf, if you are a student in an educational program, who is a California resident, or are enrolled in a residency program, and prepay all or part of your tuition. You are not eligible for protection from the STRF, and you are not required to pay the STRF assessment, if you are not a California resident, or are not enrolled in a residency program.”

  • Cemetery The Local Church agrees and insures that, after the Disaffiliation Date, its cemetery and/or columbarium, will continue to be maintained in substantially the same manner as presently maintained. In addition, Local Church will honor any and all contracts, deeds, and agreements for burial and/or internment in its cemetery or columbarium, as well as insuring and continued access for families and loved ones of United Methodists buried there and for burials in unfilled xxxxxx and columbarium slots (including granting an access easement to the Conference and members of the United Methodist Church for visitations, historical research, and related purposes).

  • TOOL STORAGE 1. A company shall provide on all construction jobs in towns and cities, and elsewhere where reasonably necessary and practicable (or if requested buy the employee), a suitable and secure waterproof lock-up solely for the purpose of storing employees’ tools, and on multi-storey and major projects the company shall provide, where possible, a suitable lock-up for employees’ tools within a reasonable distance of the work area of large groups of employees. 2. Where an employee is absent from work because of illness or accident and has advised the company in accordance with Clause 33 – Personal Leave of the award, the company shall ensure that the employee’s tools are securely stored during his/her absence.

  • Secondary Systems The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each cooperate with the other in the inspection, maintenance, and testing of control or power circuits that operate below 600 volts, AC or DC, including, but not limited to, any hardware, control or protective devices, cables, conductors, electric raceways, secondary equipment panels, transducers, batteries, chargers, and voltage and current transformers that directly affect the operation of Developer or Connecting Transmission Owner’s facilities and equipment which may reasonably be expected to impact the other Party. The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each provide advance notice to the other Party, and to NYISO, before undertaking any work on such circuits, especially on electrical circuits involving circuit breaker trip and close contacts, current transformers, or potential transformers.

  • Health Spending Account contributions by the Executive will cease on the Effective Date. The Executive may submit claims against the balance accrued to the Effective Date, until the end of the calendar year in which the Effective Date occurs.

  • Student Services a. High school students in dual credit courses will be given access to the College library, accorded appropriate privileges, and have adequate library resources convenient for use at the site where the course is offered. b. High school students in dual credit courses will be provided the academic support services, including academic advising and counseling, as those on the college campus. c. Prior to the start of each academic year, the High School and College shall collaborate on the development and communication of procedures for the provision of accommodations for students with disabilities enrolled in Dual Credit courses (“Established Procedures”). High School and College shall provide disability services in accordance with Established Procedures and applicable law. d. If a student is enrolled simultaneously in College and in high school in a dual credit program, the two schools may share information regarding the student, in accordance with FERPA. e. All other services provided to regular Dallas College students will also be provided to high school students enrolled in dual credit courses in accordance with applicable law and Dallas College policies.

  • Life support equipment (a) If a person living or intending to live at your premises requires life support equipment, you must: (i) register the premises with your retailer or with us; and (ii) provide medical confirmation for the premises. (b) Subject to satisfying the requirements in the Rules, your premises may cease to be registered as having life support equipment if medical confirmation is not provided to us or your retailer.

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.
