SUBSTITUTE LESSON PLANS. If teachers are absent they will submit (or have submitted previous to the absence) substitute lesson plans directly to the principal or maintain them in a known location in the classroom for substitute use. Exceptions may be made by the principal in instances of extenuating circumstances. Additionally, teachers will provide ten (10) working days of substitute lesson plans for approved long-term absences, except in cases of significant and immediate catastrophic situations, either prior to or during the absences as determined by the principal and teacher.
SUBSTITUTE LESSON PLANS. 1231 In the event of a teacher’s absence, the teacher shall supply standards-based lesson plans 1232 for the substitute, appropriate to the subject matter, grade level, and expected duration of the 1233 teacher’s absence, no later than 20 minutes before the start of school. SUBSTITUTE LESSON PLANS. It is the obligation of the teacher to have written lesson plans for a substitute prior to the substitute's arrival at the building involved.
SUBSTITUTE LESSON PLANS. Recognizing the need for adequate planning, teachers shall make available each day lesson plans, schedules, seating plans, and other information for the next school day or for longer periods as may be required by the principal, supervisor or department heads. These materials shall always be available for substitutes in a teacher’s absence.

  • Lesson Plans A. Teachers responsible for the instruction of students shall prepare lesson plans as an essential part of their teaching responsibilities. The format and organization of lesson plans are best determined by the individual teacher. Every lesson plan should include an indication of the objectives, content materials and procedure for reference. The principal or supervising administrator may suggest a particular format or organization. However, where the principal has personally substantiated need for specific organization of lessons plans, the teacher may then be required to utilize a suggested form in the preparation of lesson plans. The request for daily lesson plans should not be used as a disciplinary measure.

  • Substitute Employees Employees replacing another on leave of absence from the position shall be known as substitute employees. Those substitutes who exceed 194 workdays in the fiscal year shall not gain permanent employment rights with the District. However, the agency shop provisions of this contract shall cover the employee.

  • Substitute Work Unit members on the layoff list may sign up for day-to-day substitute work with the Personnel Office indicating sites at which they are willing to work.

  • Substitute Teachers In lieu of salary under the Basic Salary Schedule, the District shall pay to teachers employed on the basis of the teacher being available for service if and when called upon by the District, and known as Substitute Teachers, an allowance of $201.72 per day of teaching effective September 1, 2009. Half days will be paid at 50 per cent of the full day allowance.

  • As-Built Plans Within thirty (30) days after completion of Tenant’s Changes requiring the submission of plans to Landlord, Tenant shall furnish to Landlord a complete set of “as-built” plans and specifications.

  • Substitute Teaching An adjunct faculty member who is interested in a substitute teaching assignment may be assigned to teach as a substitute in a course section for which the adjunct faculty member is qualified to teach. Each semester an adjunct faculty member may submit to the appropriate Xxxx a written request, on a form provided by the College, which shall indicate his/her willingness and availability to act as a substitute teacher and a reliable means by which to contact the adjunct faculty member on short notice. An adjunct faculty member who is selected to substitute teach shall be paid in accordance with Article 8.4.

  • Replacement Employees (a) A replacement employee is an employee specifically engaged or temporarily promoted or transferred, as a result of an employee proceeding on parental leave.

  • Construction Plans Tenant shall prepare final plans and specifications for the Tenant Improvements that (a) are consistent with and are logical evolutions of the Approved Schematic Plans and (b) incorporate any other Tenant-requested (and Landlord-approved) Changes (as defined below). As soon as such final plans and specifications ("Construction Plans") are completed, Tenant shall deliver the same to Landlord for Landlord's approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed. All such Construction Plans shall be submitted by Tenant to Landlord in electronic .pdf, CADD and full-size hard copy formats, and shall be approved or disapproved by Landlord within ten (10) business days after delivery to Landlord. Landlord's failure to respond within such ten (10) business day period shall be deemed approval by Landlord. If the Construction Plans are disapproved by Landlord, then Landlord shall notify Tenant in writing of its objections to such Construction Plans, and the parties shall confer and negotiate in good faith to reach agreement on the Construction Plans. Promptly after the Construction Plans are approved by Landlord and Tenant, two (2) copies of such Construction Plans shall be initialed and dated by Landlord and Tenant, and Tenant shall promptly submit such Construction Plans to all appropriate Governmental Authorities for approval. The Construction Plans so approved, and all change orders approved (to the extent required) by Landlord, are referred to herein as the "Approved Plans."
