  • Work Days The work day shall consist of an assigned shift within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours commencing at 12:01 a.m. Whenever practicable and consistent with program needs, employees shall work on five (5) consecutive working days separated by two (2) consecutive days off. Significant or major changes in methods of scheduling shall be first discussed with the Union before changes are made.

  • Supplemental Work Authorizations Before additional work may be performed or additional costs incurred, a change in a work authorization shall be enacted by a written supplemental work authorization in the form identified and attached hereto as Attachment D. Both parties must execute a supplemental work authorization within the period of performance specified in the work authorization. The State shall not be responsible for actions by the Engineer or any costs incurred by the Engineer relating to additional work not directly associated with the performance or prior to the execution of the work authorization. Any supplemental work authorization must be executed by both parties within the time period established in Article 2 of the contract, (Contract Period).   • SUPPLEMENTAL SALARY SCHEDULE 12.01 Every effort shall be made by the Board to post supplemental positions in a timely manner each school year. Teachers in the bargaining unit may apply for the supplemental vacancy within ten (10) working days of each posting. If no qualified bargaining unit member applies for the supplemental position, the Board may fill the vacancy with individuals not in the bargaining unit.

  • Additional Work If changes in the work seem merited by Consultant or the City, and informal consultations with the other party indicate that a change is warranted, it shall be processed in the following manner: a letter outlining the changes shall be forwarded to the City by Consultant with a statement of estimated changes in fee or time schedule.   • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District.
