Surveying and Staking. For distribution or transmission projects, LES shall survey and properly xxxx the locations of the line structures and anchors to be installed or provide staking sheets. All stakes shall be numbered with a colored crayon corresponding to the staking sheet number required for identification. Any costs incurred for the replacement of stakes not displaced through the negligence of the LES or its employees shall be paid by the Contractor to LES. The staking sheets will specify the location of all the stakes, the stake number, the units to be used at each location and any other pertinent and necessary instructions. For substation and generation projects, LES shall survey and properly xxxx a certified benchmark location at the job site. Using the benchmark location, Contractor is responsible for all surveying and staking for the Contractor’s foundations and equipment covered in this Contract.

Surveying and Staking. L. Sidewalks and Trails The improvements shall be installed in accordance with the City Code. The Developer will not use power equipment between the hours of 7 o’clock p.m. and 7 o’clock a.m. The Developer shall submit plans and specifications for permit which have been prepared by a competent registered professional engineer to the City for approval by the City Engineer which approval shall be provided on the condition that such submittals comply with the Plans and this Agreement. The Developer shall instruct its engineer to provide adequate field inspection personnel to assure an acceptable level of quality control. In addition, the City may, at the City's discretion and at the Developer's expense, have one or more City inspectors and a soil engineer inspect the work as the City may reasonably determine. The Developer, its contractors and subcontractors, shall follow all instructions received from the City's inspectors. The Developer's engineer shall provide for on-site project management. The Developer's engineer is responsible for design changes and contract administration between the Developer and the Developer's contractor. The Developer or his engineer shall schedule a pre-construction meeting at a mutually agreeable time at the City Council xxxxxxxx with all parties concerned, including the City staff, to review the program for the construction work. Developer will install sidewalks just prior to the installation of the final lift of asphalt.

The DEVELOPER shall obtain all necessary permits before proceeding with construction. The CITY will, at the CITY’s discretion and at the DEVELOPER’s expense, have one or more CITY inspectors and a soil engineer inspect the work on a full or part-time basis to assure an acceptable level of quality control to the extent that the CITY’s engineer will be able to certify that the construction work meets the approved CITY standards as a condition of CITY acceptance. The DEVELOPER or his contractor shall sche- dule a preconstruction meeting at a mutually agreeable time at the City Hall with all parties concerned, including CITY staff, to review the program for the construction work. Within thirty (30) days after the completion of the improvements and before the security is released, the DEVELOPER shall supply the CITY with a complete set of reproducible “As Built” plans.

Such bucked out material shall contain a minimum amount of sound wood, not in excess of the net scale in percentage of gross scale, or based on the merchantability factor, whichever is stated in A2. If necessary to assess extent of defect, Purchaser shall make sample saw cuts or wedges. B6.411 Felling in Clearings. Insofar as ground conditions, tree lean, and shape of clearings per- mit, trees shall be felled so that their tops do not extend outside Clearcutting Units, construction clearings, and ar- eas of regeneration cutting. B6.000 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The xxxxx heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where xxxxx heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.

  • Mining and Industrial Cooperation 1. The aims of cooperation in mining and industry sectors, carried out in the mutual interest of the Parties and in compliance with their policies, will be: (a) to focus cooperative activities towards sectors where mutual and complementary interests exist; and (b) to build on existing agreements and arrangements already in place between the Parties. 2. Mining and Industrial cooperation may include work in, but not be limited to, the following areas: (a) bio-mining (mining using biotechnology procedures); (b) mining techniques, specially underground mining, and conventional metallurgy; (c) productivity in mining; (d) industrial robotics for mining and other sector applications; (e) informatics and telecommunication applications for mining and industrial plant production; and (f) software development for mining and industrial applications. 3. The Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities including, but not limited to: (a) exchange of information, documentation and institutional contacts in areas of interest; (b) mutual access to academic, industrial and entrepreneurial networks in the area of mining and industry; (c) identification of strategies, in consultation with universities and research centres, that encourage joint postgraduate studies, research visits and joint research projects; (d) exchange of scientists, researchers and technical experts; (e) promotion of public/private sector partnerships and joint ventures in the support of the development of innovative products and services specially related to productivity in the sector activities; (f) technology transfer in the areas mentioned in paragraph 2; (g) designing of innovation technology models based in public/private cooperation and association ventures; and (h) information and experience exchange on mining environmental issues.

  • Verifying and Certifying The type and amount of any Environmental Attribute transferred and Delivered will be measured, calculated, Verified and Certified as agreed by the Parties or as required pursuant to the Applicable Program. Unless otherwise specified in a Product Order or the written rules of the Applicable Program specified by the Parties, Seller will ensure that the Certification Authority, Verification Provider and Verification Methodologies are selected in compliance with this Agreement and the rules of the Applicable Program. A Verification Provider and Verification Methodology may be designated before or after Delivery, but unless required pursuant to the terms of the Applicable Program specified by the Parties, Verification is optional and need not be specified; and unless otherwise specified or required to comply with a representation for a Product sold as Regulatorily Continuing, expenses of Verification are the responsibility of the Seller if Verification is designated on or before the Trade Date, and the responsibility of Buyer if designated thereafter. Unless otherwise specified in the Product Order or the rules of the Applicable Program, the costs of the Verification Authority and Certification Authority are Seller’s responsibility.
