Suspension of Contributions. (a) Participation in the scheme will be suspended during any period of unpaid leave. Any period of unpaid leave will reduce payments into the fund and therefore proportionately reduce the accrued payment in the year of leave.
(b) A participant may elect to suspend contributions for a period of less than 12 months once during the accrual period. This will also reduce the accrued payment in the year of leave.
(c) The employer retains the discretionary authority to approve suspension for a period of 12 months at the request of the participant. Such a suspension will extend the taking of the year of leave by 1 year.
Suspension of Contributions. In the event of a complete discontinuance of contributions to this Plan, the vested percentage of each Participant in his Employer Account shall be 100%.
Suspension of Contributions. In the event contributions are suspended, either temporarily or permanently, prior to the complete discharge of PARS’ obligations under this Agreement, PARS reserves the right to xxxx the Agency for Services under this Agreement at the rates indicated in PARS’ standard fee schedule in effect at the time the services are provided, subject to the terms established in Section 3 of this Agreement. Before any such services are performed, PARS will provide the Agency with written notice of the subject services, terms, and an estimate of the fees therefore.
Suspension of Contributions. A participant may suspend his compensation reduction agreement as of the last day of any month by giving such notice as shall be prescribed by the Com-mittee, and no contribution shall be made during such suspension period. Such suspension may last indefinitely. The participant may resume his compensation reduction agreement on the first (1st) day of any month following the expiration of six (6) months from the date his agreement was suspended, providing he shall then be eligible to participate, by giving such notice as shall be prescribed by the Committee.
Suspension of Contributions. Should an Employer fail for any reason to make Company Contributions and/or Company Matching Contributions in any one (1) or more years, such failure shall not, of itself, terminate or discontinue this Plan and Trust as to the Employer and its Participants, nor shall the Employer incur any obligation to make up such Company Contributions and/or Company Matching Contributions in whole or in part.
Suspension of Contributions. A Compensation Reduction Agreement may be suspended at any time as to Deferred Salary Contributions and/or Xxxx Contributions not theretofore accrued. After any such suspension, a Member may resume Deferred Salary Contributions and/or Xxxx Contributions by entering into a Compensation Reduction Agreement which shall be effective as soon as practicable after such Agreement is entered into.
Suspension of Contributions. If the Plan Sponsor decides it is impossible or inadvisable to continue to make contributions, it shall have the power by appropriate resolution or decision to suspend contributions to the Plan. Suspension shall be a temporary cessation of contributions which shall not constitute or require a formal termination of the Plan and shall not preclude contributions. After the date of suspension of contributions, the Plan and Trust shall remain in force. The Committee shall deliver to the Trustee a copy of the Plan Sponsor's resolution to suspend contributions.
Suspension of Contributions. Effective August 1, 2009, a Plan Sponsor may suspend or reduce Qualified Matching Contributions or Qualified Non-Elective Contributions for a period, as permitted in Treasury Regulations, for reasons specified in such Treasury Regulations, such as Plan Sponsors undergoing a substantial business hardship.
