Teacher Vacancy Grant Initiative. In accordance with HCUSD2 applying for and receiving funds from the Teacher Vacancy Grant Program awarded by the ISBE the following monies shall be made available in the school years when the district receives grant funding. A. New Teacher Signing Bonus Professional educators hired and beginning work for the district during the 2023-2024 school year shall receive a signing bonus of $2000. This stipend will be paid in two equal installments. Once the state disperses funds to the district, the first installment shall be received during the next payroll (ideally on the August 25th or September 10th payroll). The second installment shall come at the conclusion of the school year, with the June 10th payroll. By receiving this bonus, the professional educator is committing to returning for the 2024-2025 school year. Should the professional educator not return for the 2024-2025 school year then the bonus money must be repaid. Failure to repay the district directly will result in the money owed being garnished from the final paychecks. Should the district receive the grant for future school years this language will then be applied to that new incoming group of professional educators with the years referenced adjusted accordingly for when the grant is successfully renewed. B. Increased Undergraduate Tuition Reimbursement For a professional educator assigned to teach courses that are not currently endorsed on their PEL and required to take undergraduate courses to meet endorsement requirements, the tuition reimbursement rate for undergraduate courses listed in Article 11.2 of this agreement shall be increased from $70 per credit hour to $160 per credit hour. The number of credit hours eligible for reimbursement will also be increased from nine (9) credit hours to twelve (12) credit hours. This increase will only be applied to courses meeting the necessary endorsement requirements and must be approved by the superintendent. This increase will only be for courses taken during the 2023-2024 school year. Should the district receive the grant for future school years this language will then be applied to that school year.

  • Continuity of Services A. The Contractor recognizes that the service(s) to be performed under this Contract are vital to the State and must be continued without interruption and that, upon Contract expiration, a successor, either the State or another contractor, may continue them. The Contractor agrees to: Furnish phase-in training; and Exercise its best efforts and cooperation to effect an orderly and efficient transition to a successor. B. The Contractor shall, upon the State's written notice: Furnish phase-in, phase-out services for up to sixty (60) days after this Contract expires; and Negotiate in good faith a plan with a successor to determine the nature and extent of phase-in, phase-out services required. The plan shall specify a training program and a date for transferring responsibilities for each division of work described in the plan, and shall be subject to the State's approval. The Contractor shall provide sufficient experienced personnel during the phase-in, phase-out period to ensure that the services called for by this Contract are maintained at the required level of proficiency. C. The Contractor shall allow as many personnel as practicable to remain on the job to help the successor maintain the continuity and consistency of the services required by this Contract. The Contractor also shall disclose necessary personnel records and allow the successor to conduct on-site interviews with these employees. If selected employees are agreeable to the change, the Contractor shall release them at a mutually agreeable date and negotiate transfer of their earned fringe benefits to the successor. D. The Contractor shall be reimbursed for all reasonable phase-in, phase-out costs (i.e., costs incurred within the agreed period after contract expiration that result from phase-in, phase-out operations).

  • COMMERCIAL REUSE OF SERVICES The member or user herein agrees not to replicate, duplicate, copy, trade, sell, resell nor exploit for any commercial reason any part, use of, or access to 's sites.

  • Coordination of Services Consultant agrees to work closely with City staff in the performance of Services and shall be available to City’s staff, consultants and other staff at all reasonable times.

  • Reporting of Total Compensation of Subrecipient Executives 1. Applicability and what to report. Unless you are exempt as provided in paragraph d. of this award term, for each first-tier subrecipient under this award, you shall report the names and total compensation of each of the subrecipient's five most highly compensated executives for the subrecipient's preceding completed fiscal year, if-- i. in the subrecipient's preceding fiscal year, the subrecipient received-- (A) 80 percent or more of its annual gross revenues from Federal procurement contracts (and subcontracts) and Federal financial assistance subject to the Transparency Act, as defined at 2 CFR 170.320 (and subawards); and (B) $25,000,000 or more in annual gross revenues from Federal procurement contracts (and subcontracts), and Federal financial assistance subject to the Transparency Act (and subawards); and ii. Where and when to report. You must report subrecipient executive total compensation described in paragraph c.1. of this award term: i. To the recipient. ii. By the end of the month following the month during which you make the subaward. For example, if a subaward is obligated on any date during the month of October of a given year (i.e., between October 1 and 31), you must report any required compensation information of the subrecipient by November 30 of that year.

  • In-Service Programs The parties to this collective agreement recognize the value of in-service education both to the employee and the Employer. A) The Employer reserves the right to identify specific in-service programs deemed compulsory. B) Employees required to attend such programs will be paid at the applicable rate of pay.

  • Continuity of Service It shall be the right of all Subscribers to continue receiving Cable Service insofar as their financial and other obligations to the Grantee are honored, and subject to Xxxxxxx’s rights under Section 15.2 of this Franchise.

  • Exclusivity of Services The Subadviser shall devote its best efforts and such time as it deems necessary to provide prompt and expert service to Client and the Fund. The services of Subadviser to be provided hereunder are not to be deemed exclusive and Subadviser shall be free to provide similar services for its own account and the accounts of other persons and to receive compensation for such services. Client acknowledges that Subadviser and its Affiliates and Subadviser's other clients may at any time, have, acquire, increase, decrease or dispose of positions in the same investments which are at the same time being held, acquired for or disposed of under this Agreement for the Fund.   • Educational Program A. DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST XXXX MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3).
