Team Members Exempted. This clause shall not apply where employment is terminated as a consequence of conduct that justifies instant dismissal, including malingering, inefficiency or neglect of duty, or in the case of casual team members, apprentices, or team members engaged for a specific period of time or for a specified task or tasks.

Team Members Exempted. This clause does not apply to team members terminated as a consequence of serious misconduct that justifies dismissal without notice, probationary team members, team members engaged for a specific period of time or for a specified task or tasks or casual team members.
Team Members Exempted. Clause 34 does not apply where employment is terminated as a consequence of conduct that justifies summary dismissal, or in the case of casual team members, apprentices, or team members engaged on a fixed term basis or for a specified task or tasks.

  • Employee Organization Leave Notification of a unit member's intent to take Employee Organization Leave shall be submitted to the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources no later than thirty (30) days prior to the starting date of the leave. In addition to the leave benefits granted to representatives of employee organizations by law, unit members on employee organization leave shall not accrue vacation credit, nor submit time reports for vacation leaves. Sick leave shall continue to accrue and sick leave time reporting shall be processed through the Vice Chancellor of Human Resources. AFT shall notify the District no less than sixty days (60) prior to the return to service of a unit member on Employee Organization Leave.
