Casual Team Members. The employment of a casual team member may be terminated by the giving or receiving of 1 hour’s notice or payment thereof.
Casual Team Members. Remuneration shall be paid according to the relevant skill level on an hourly basis and in accordance with parent award provisions.
Casual Team Members. (a) A casual team member is a team member engaged as such.
(b) A casual team member will be paid both the hourly rate payable to a full‐time team member and an additional 25% of the Base Rate of Pay for a full‐time team member.
(c) Casual team members will be paid at the termination of each engagement or weekly or fortnightly in accordance with pay arrangements for full‐time and part‐time team members.
(d) The minimum daily engagement of a casual is 3 hours.
Casual Team Members. (a) Casual team members may be engaged on an hourly basis to perform the duties prescribed for the classifications of this Agreement.
(b) The engagement of a casual warehouse team member shall commence at the start of each shift for which the casual is employed and shall terminate at the end of that shift.
(c) Casual team members rate of pay is calculated by adding 22.5% to the relevant full time team member’s ordinary time earnings. This 22.5% loading is in lieu of a casual team member’s entitlements to, Family Leave, Annual Leave, Public Holidays or other forms of Leave (excluding Long Service Leave and forms of unpaid leave) for all hours worked other than Overtime.
Casual Team Members. (a) The engagement of a casual Team Member will commence at the start of each shift for which the casual is engaged and will terminate at the end of that shift. Casual Team Members will be paid a loading of 22.5% of their ordinary time rate of pay. This loading is in lieu of all entitlements that full- time and part-time team members receive under the NES (except where otherwise provided for in the Agreement).
(b) Casual Team Members may request that their employment be converted to a permanent position in accordance with item 1 of the Appendix.
(c) Casual Team Members may work a maximum of 152 hours during a 4-week roster cycle.
Casual Team Members. Agency contract staff or casual Specialised Delivery Service team members will be used from time to time. The payment for casual team members will be based an hourly rate calculated from a full time SSP annual salary. An additional 15% casual loading and 8.33% loading in respect of annual leave for ordinary hours worked Monday to Friday will apply. Award penalty rates will be applied directly to the rate for all hours worked in excess of 8 ordinary hours on weekdays, and for hours worked on shift, weekends or public holidays.
Casual Team Members. A casual Team Member is engaged by the hour from shift to shift and may have their hours rostered. A casual Team Member may work a maximum of 38 Ordinary Hours per week with a minimum daily engagement of 4 Ordinary Hours and a maximum daily engagement of 10 Ordinary Hours.
1. This loading shall also be applied to the Base Hourly Rate. Apart from their casual loading, casual Team Members will be otherwise engaged on the same terms and conditions specified in this Agreement as applied to full time and part time Team Members who are covered by this Agreement with the exception of the following provisions: ● annual leave (including annual leave loading), public holidays (unless they work on a public holiday), personal leave, compassionate leave, jury service leave and notice of termination provisions. The right to be offered and request casual conversion is provided for in the NES. Team members who convert to a permanent role, will convert at the applicable classification. Separate and in addition to the NES provision, the following will apply under the Agreement:
i. Team members who are not eligible for casual conversion under the NES may, if eligible under this clause, make a written request for the Company to consider the team member for conversion.
ii. To be eligible for conversion under this clause, a team member must have been employed for a minimum period of 12 months and averaged greater than 16 ordinary hours per week in the 26 weeks prior to the request. For clarity, eligibility is determined by the ordinary hours worked, not the specific pattern of those hours. Team members may only make a request once every 6 months.
Casual Team Members. Casual Team Members whose engagements are ceased as a result of a Site Closure shall be paid a Casual Closure Payment of $1,000 per completed year of service, up to a maximum cap of $5,000 per person. This clause does not apply to any third party or labour hire casuals, only to casual Team Members who are directly employed by the Company.
Casual Team Members. (a) A casual team member shall be employed by the hour to work when available and required by the Company and can work up to 38 ordinary hours in a week.
(b) A casual team member shall be paid the base hourly rate plus a 25% casual loading for all hours of work. This loading is in lieu of entitlements to redundancy (clause 35); termination of employment (clause 36); paid personal leave (clause 19); annual leave (clause 18); public holidays (clause 29); compassionate leave (clause 20); blood donor leave (clause 30) or other forms of paid leave (excluding long service leave and paid family and domestic violence leave in accordance with clause 34).

(d) The casual loading is absorbed when a higher premium is payable (e.g. Sundays, Public Holidays, Overtime and hours that attract a penalty)
