Common use of Temporary Upgrading Clause in Contracts

Temporary Upgrading. If a status employee is assigned on a temporary employment basis to a temporary or permanent position of higher rate or range, he/she shall receive an increase of four percent (4%) to his/her basic straight time hourly rate, or the minimum of the higher classification, whichever is greater, for all hours worked in the higher classification.
