Term Negotiations. To prepare for and negotiate a collective xxxx− aining agreement, in accordance with 5 U.S.C. 7131(a).
Term Negotiations. Includes time used by union representatives for, or in preparation for (1) negotiations over a basic agreement; or (2) negotiations over the supplementation or renegotiation of that agreement or under a re-opener provision in that agreement;
Term Negotiations. 17.1 This Agreement extends the collective bargaining from the 2017-2018 school year through and including 2018-2019 school year as follows:
Term Negotiations. Any bargaining unit employee spending time on the clock preparing for and negotiating a term agreement (New agreement or re-opening) including ground rules, mediation, impasse proceedings and negotiability proceedings. This includes the chief spokesperson, note taker, and members of the Union negotiating team. This also applies to briefings, Interest Based Bargaining, Statutory bargaining, drafting proposals or information requests relating to bargaining.

Term Negotiations. Official time used to bargain over issues raised during the life of a term agreement. • Dispute Resolution: Official time used to process grievances up to and including arbitrations and appeals of bargaining unit employees before various third parties, such as the MSPB, FLRA, EEOC and, the courts. • General Labor/Management Relations: Official time used for activities not included in the above three categories. Examples of such activities include meetings between labor and management officials to discuss general conditions of employment, labor-management committee meetings, labor relations training for union representatives, and union participation in formal meetings and investigative interviews.
Term Negotiations. Time spent by union officials to negotiate changes to conditions of employment proposed by management or issues raised by the union during the term of the agreement.
