Tobacco-Free Environment. Pursuant to Penal Code Section 5030.1, the use of tobacco products by any person on the grounds of any institution or facility under the jurisdiction of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is prohibited.
Tobacco-Free Environment. A. The use of tobacco inside school buildings, District offices, non-instructional facilities, and anywhere on school property (except in personal vehicles) is prohibited. The “use of tobacco” shall mean all use of tobacco, including a cigarette, cigar, pipe, snuff, or any other matter or substances that contain tobacco.
Tobacco-Free Environment. Employees of the Wentzville School District will not be permitted to use any tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, or items that appear to be tobacco products while in or on any school property at any time, including District vehicles.

District property includes school buildings, school grounds, school owned vehicles and vehicles owned by others while on District property.

The Contractor agrees that it will not allow smoking or tobacco use within any portion of any indoor facility it leases, rents, or owns, and over which it has the authority to establish policy. The Contractor agrees that it shall comply with Iowa’s Smokefree Air Act, contained at Iowa Code chapter 142D.

No student, employee, parent, volunteer, contractor, spectator, or school visitor is permitted to use tobacco products of any kind, including chewing tobacco, synthetic tobacco products, and electronic cigarettes/cigars, in any District-owned/controlled facility or vehicle, or at any District or school sponsored event in the presence of students. The District will work with the Tobacco-Free Partnership to provide tobacco cessation literature, classes, aids, and supplies.
