Tool Allowance - Tradespersons. (a) Except as provided elsewhere in this clause tradespersons shall be paid an allowance of $13.21 per week for supplying and maintaining tools ordinarily required in the performance of their work as tradespersons. (b) This allowance shall not apply to the following FTMs covered by clauses 2 and 3 of Schedule 5 (concerning the air conditioning industry in Queensland). (c) The Company may reach agreement with an individual tradesperson to provide all of the tools required in the performance of their work. In such circumstances, the tool allowance shall not be payable. (d) The Company shall provide for the use of tradespersons all necessary power tools, special purpose tools, precision measuring instruments and, for sheet metal workers, snips used in the cutting of stainless steel, monel metal and similar hard metals. (e) Tradespersons shall replace or pay for any tools supplied by the Company which are lost as a result of negligence on the part of the FTM. (f) The provision of tools under the Federal government “tools for your trade scheme” shall not constitute the provision of all tools by the Company for the purposes of clause 9.1.3(c).

Tool Allowance - Tradespersons. In substitute of payment of a tool allowance CSL shall provide, maintain and replace all tools for the use of tradespeople, trades assistants and apprentices. A tradesperson who resigns or retires after more than one year of continuous employment with CSL will be provided with a tool kit for the appropriate trade.

  • Travel Allowances There shall be no payments for travel expenses, travel time, subsistence allowance or other such reimbursements or special pay except as expressly set forth in this Agreement.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE In lieu of the basic daily excess fares and travel pattern allowance prescribed by Clause 38.1.1 of the award, a payment per day shall be made for each day worked (including RDO’s). This payment shall in no way limit or be construed as a payment in substitution for any other entitlement arising under Clause 38 of the award. Payments shall be as follows: ⮚ 1/3/03 $22.50 per day ⮚ 1/3/04 $23.40 per day ⮚ 1/3/05 $24.55 per day The cost of Citylink tolls or similar will be reimbursed for those employees who are required by the company to use their own vehicle during working hours, but not for travel to and from work.

  • Education Allowance Provisions in existing Collective Agreements providing for educational allowances shall be continued in effect.
