Transfer Back to Bargaining Unit. Any employee who has been promoted by the College from the bargaining unit to a job outside the bargaining unit shall not be permitted to transfer back to the bargaining unit, but must apply for any bargaining unit position as an external candidate.

Transfer Back to Bargaining Unit. Any person previously employed in the bargaining unit, upon being transferred to a position within the bargaining unit, shall be credited for seniority purposes with the seniority held at the time of their transfer from the bargaining unit. The Company will endeavour to implement each transfer at such times and in such manner that no employee with seniority will be laid off as a direct result thereof. Employees hired into positions outside the bargaining unit and subsequently transferred to positions within the bargaining unit shall enter the bargaining unit as new employees with no seniority.

  • Transfer outside of the Bargaining Unit (a) A nurse who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of not more than three (3) months, or is seconded to teach for an academic year shall not suffer any loss of seniority, service or benefits.
