Transfer to a safe job (a) Where an employee is pregnant and, in the opinion of a registered medical practitioner, illness or risks arising out of the pregnancy or hazards connected with the work assigned to the employee make it inadvisable for the employee to continue at her present work, the employee will, if the employer deems it practicable, be transferred to a safe job at the rate and on the conditions attaching to that job until the commencement of maternity leave.
Notification of Layoff Section 10.1 Except in an instance beyond the control of the Employer, the Employer agrees to give three (3) weeks’ advance notification of layoff and, if possible, to state in the notification the anticipated duration of the layoff. Recall
Retirement in Lieu of Layoff 9.9.1 Any member in the bargaining unit may elect to accept a service retirement in lieu of layoff, voluntary demotion, or reduction in assigned time. Such bargaining unit member shall, within ten (10) workdays prior to the effective date of the proposed layoff, complete, and submit a form provided by the District for this purpose.
Notice of Layoffs The County shall give reasonable notice to the Association before effecting any layoffs which materially affect employees represented under this Memorandum of Understanding. Upon receiving such notice, the Association may meet and confer regarding the effect of the layoff.
Notice of Layoff (a) Forty (40) days notice of layoff shall be sent by the Employer to the Union and the Employee(s) who is/are to be laid off, except where a greater period of notice if provided for under (b) below.
Layoff in Lieu of Bumping An employee who elects a layoff in lieu of bumping maintains his/her reemployment rights under this Agreement.
Notice To or From Co-Applicants Any notice we give you or your co-applicant is considered notice to all co- applicants; and any notice from you or your co-applicant is considered notice from all co-applicants.
Cancellation of electronic bill notification The electronic Xxxxxx reserves the right to cancel the presentment of electronic bills at any time. You may cancel electronic bill presentment at any time. The timeframe for cancellation of your electronic bill presentment may vary from Xxxxxx to Xxxxxx. It may take up to sixty (60) days, depending on the billing cycle of each Xxxxxx. We will notify your electronic Xxxxxx(s) as to the change in status of your account and it is your sole responsibility to make arrangements for an alternative form of bill delivery. We will not be responsible for presenting any electronic bills that are already in process at the time of cancellation.
Submitting LMUSI 2.9.2.1 AFN may obtain LMU information and reserve facilities by submitting a mechanized LMU query or a manual LMUSI according to the terms and conditions as described in the LMU CLEC Information Package, incorporated herein by reference as it may be amended from time to time. The CLEC Information Package is located at the “CLEC UNE Product” Web site address: xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/xxxxxx/xxxx/xxxx.xxxx. After obtaining the Loop information from the mechanized LMU process, if AFN needs further Loop information in order to determine Loop service capability, AFN may initiate a separate Manual SI for a separate NRC as set forth in Exhibit A.
