Unassigned Employee. Employees who are displaced from their previous placement in a particular location as a result of declining pupil enrollment, educational program changes, feeder pattern changes, adjustment in staff allocations, and/or organizational need.

Unassigned Employee. (Spare Employee) means an employee who does not hold a permanent position by bulletin and who reports for duty as required due to work being irregular. WORK WEEK for regularly assigned employees means a week beginning on the first day on which the assignment is bulletined to work and which ends after the days off of the assignment; and for unassigned employees means a period of seven consecutive days starting on Friday.
Unassigned Employee. An "unassigned employee" shall mean any employee displaced from a particular building/program and any employee volunteering to transfer in response to a surplus at a particular building/program.

  • Sick Leave Donation In accord with state law and Medical Center policy, RN’s may donate sick leave to any employee entitled to receive such donations.

  • INCAPACITATED EMPLOYEES The Company undertakes to make every effort to continue an employee who becomes incapacitated by illness or injury in productive employment. In the event that an employee becomes incapacitated from performing the duties of his/her position by reason of illness or injury, the parties will identify another position that the employee has previously held or a lower level position within the Bargaining Unit which she/he is capable of performing.   • Sick Leave Payoff Employee with accrued, unused sick leave may, at the time of separation, select one of the following options for reimbursement:

  • Terminating Employees A) When a regular employee with more than twelve (12) months’ service terminates employment, the Employer shall pay for vacation entitlement accrued to the date of termination, less vacation pay if any, paid in accordance with this Article.   • Injured Employees In the event of an employee sustaining injuries at work and becoming physically handicapped as a result thereof, every effort shall be made by the Employer to give the injured employee such suitable employment as is available.

  • Sick Leave Donations Employees in the Unit as well as officers above the rank of sergeant and other non-bargaining unit employees in the Police Department may donate sick leave for the purpose of providing authorized sick leave to any Unit member who has exhausted all accrued annual, compensatory and sick leave.   • Rehired Employees Amounts forfeited upon termination of employment because of the failure to meet the applicable vesting requirements shall not be reinstated or re-credited if an individual is subsequently rehired or re-employed by the School Corporation. However, if the Board shall have approved a leave of absence of not more than one (1) fiscal year for an employee, such period of leave shall not result in forfeiture provided the employee shall promptly return to employment following the expiration of the period of the leave.

  • Sick Leave Pay A Nurse granted sick leave shall be paid for the period of such leave at her or his regular hourly rate of pay and the number of hours thus paid shall be deducted from the accumulated sick leave credits of the Nurse.
