Unassigned Periods for Elementary Teachers. ‌‌‌ A. Unassigned periods shall be equalized to the maxi- mum extent possible among all teachers of child develop- ment, kindergarten, primary, upper elementary and Special Education classes within buildings and between buildings; if unassigned periods cannot be completely equalized, the extra unassigned periods shall be rotated. B. Every effort will be made to provide unassigned peri- ods for both primary and upper elementary teachers includ- ing teachers of Special Education such as Developmentally Handicapped, Hearing Impaired, Visually Impaired and Learning Disabilities, through the employment of addition- al art, music, and physical education teachers. C. All elementary teachers shall receive five (5) unas- signed periods per week. D. Educational aides will be assigned to provide assis- tance, on a class period basis, for those elementary teachers who do not have an equitable number of unassigned periods. Any additional educational aide time assigned to the school shall be provided equitably to teachers with the largest class size in descending numerical order. E. Elementary art, music, and physical education teach- ers shall have the option to schedule one (1) day before the official beginning of school, to prepare supplies and equip- ment for use and storage. For each day so scheduled, the teacher shall be paid at his/her daily rate. On the first day of school the students arrive, each art, music, and physical edu- cation teacher will be ready for instruction. Each such teacher shall also have the option to schedule one (1) day after the official close of the school year, for the same rea- sons and be paid at his/her daily rate. F. The Kindergarten Committee on unassigned time shall continue to meet to consider the preference of Kindergarten teachers for a block of unassigned time. G. When an elementary class is taken to the library for the presentation of a regularly scheduled lesson by the media specialist, the class teacher may consider the time spent by the class while in the library as an unassigned period. H. Media specialists shall use the first and the last week of the school year to prepare supplies and equipment for use and storage.

Where and when to report. You must report executive total compensation described in paragraph A.1. of this award term: i. As part of your registration profile at xxxxx://xxx.xxx.gov. ii. By the end of the month following the month in which this award is made, and annually thereafter.

  • Engagement of Services Company may issue Project Assignments to Contractor in the form attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A (Project Assignment). A Project Assignment will become binding when both parties have signed it and once signed, Contractor will be obligated to provide the services as specified in such Project Assignment. The terms of this Agreement will govern all Project Assignments and services undertaken by Contractor for Company.

  • CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.

  • Service Period The Service Period of this Agreement is for 1 year in respect of the unit and starts on the Start Date as defined in the Terms and Conditions, or, in the case of an extension of renewal of the provision of Support Services, starts on the date of payment of the Charges.

  • SALARY DETERMINATION FOR EMPLOYEES IN ADULT EDUCATION 1. The following shall apply to employees providing instruction in adult education programs in these districts: Continuing Education employees in the Adult Education High School Completion Program (credit courses) and Adult Education Academic Upgrading Programs (Adult Basic Education, General Education Development, Pre-General Education Development, Literacy and Adult Education English Language Programs). Employees teaching Adult Education academic programs including: High School Completion Program, Pathfinder High School Completion Program, Academic Business Education Program, General Equivalency Diploma Program, Adult Basic Education Program, Adult English as a Second Language Program, and Adult Special Education Program, in the Continuing Education Division.

  • Probationary Teachers Probationary teachers' order of reduction shall be according to program needs.

  • Particular Methods of Procurement of Consultants’ Services 1. Quality- and Cost-based Selection. Except as otherwise provided in paragraph 2 below, consultants’ services shall be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of Quality and Cost-based Selection.

  • Board Membership During the Employment Term, Executive will serve as a member of the Board, subject to any required Board and/or stockholder approval.
