Kindergarten Teachers. 7.6.1 a. Based on student needs at each site, Kindergarten teachers shall be assigned to participate in a program of intervention for Kindergarten students at that site. The intervention shall include remediation or enrichment.
Kindergarten Teachers. (a) The Collective Agreement shall apply to Kindergarten Teachers except Articles 6.2(a) and (c), 6.9, 6.10, 6.11 and 6.12. (b) A Kindergarten Teacher shall be paid according to the salary grid attached in Schedule “B”. (c) Notwithstanding Article 12.14, Kindergarten Teachers will work the same schedule as the Hebrew Studies Teachers.
Kindergarten Teachers. The District will implement “Option 2 State Class Size Reductionto the extent feasible considering current facilities and increased costs. Kindergarten teachers in classrooms not participating in the State Class Size Reduction Program will receive an additional two days pay or the amount set forth in Section 18.2 below, whichever is greater.
Kindergarten Teachers. 6.6.1 Not more than 250 minutes of teaching. If the teacher is supervising students during recess, these minutes will be included in the total instructional minutes for the purposes of calculating the teacher’s workday unless mutually decided otherwise by the school site. A half-day shall be defined as 125 instructional minutes. 6.6.2 All primary grade teachers, including Kindergarten teachers, will remain on campus the same number of minutes per day. Outside the instructional day, Kindergarten teachers will engage in activities or tasks related exclusively to their own students, as well as incoming or outgoing students. These include but are not limited to consultation with other support personnel such as speech therapists, special education teachers, counselors, parent conferences or communications and IEP’s. Additionally, duties outside the instructional day will not include supervision of students or tasks that involve students not assigned to their own class. The district may direct the teacher to perform tasks during the non-student time, provided such duties are limited to emergency situations, as deemed necessary by the district.
Kindergarten Teachers. Workday for the Kindergarten teachers shall be the same as the workday for the first grade teachers in their building and shall be governed by California Education Code section 46118.
Kindergarten Teachers. Both parties agree to implement the terms and conditions as listed in the “Protocol on General Guidelines" appearing at the end of this document. 9-2.01 The procedure for settling grievances and arbitration provided in article 9-1.00 shall apply.

Kindergarten Teachers. Teach elemental natural and social science, personal hygiene, music, art, and literature to kindergarten students. Promote physical, mental, and social development.
Kindergarten Teachers a) At the onset of a new school year, Kindergarten teachers, with paraprofessional support, shall have the first three (3) days of the academic year to meet with parents and students for Kindergarten Readiness assessment (i.e. WaKIDS) and building rapport. b) Kindergarten teachers shall have two (2) days within the 180 day schedule to input WaKIDS data before the October 31st deadline. These days shall be determined by the teacher. Substitute to be paid by the district. c) If a substitute teacher is unavailable, the teacher will be compensated for up to fourteen (14) hours of work time at their per diem rate.
Kindergarten Teachers. The teacher will be compensated for preparing and presenting at an open house prior to the contractual school year. The teacher will be paid for each hour of the scheduled open house. Additionally, teachers will be paid for two hours of preparation time for each hour of scheduled open house. The hourly rate of compensation shall be $34 per hour.
