Common use of Union Leave Clause in Contracts

Union Leave. Leave of absence for Union business shall be given with pay up to an aggregate maximum total of twenty (20) days per calendar year for Employees in the Bargaining Unit provided such leave does not interfere with the continuance of efficient operations of the Hospital. Such leave shall be subject to the following conditions:

Union Leave. Leave of absence for Union business shall be given with pay (subject to c below) up to an aggregate maximum total for all employees of twenty forty-five (2045) days per calendar year for Employees in the Bargaining Unit provided such leave does not interfere with the a continuance of efficient operations of the HospitalEmployer. (a) Leave of absence without pay for Union business shall be given with pay up to an aggregate maximum a cumulative total of twenty five (2025) days per during the calendar year for Employees in the Bargaining Unit provided such leave does not interfere with the continuance of efficient operations of the Hospitalyear. Such leave shall not be subject to the following conditions:arbitrarily withheld.

Union Leave. Leave The Employer agrees to grant leave of absence for Union business shall be given with pay up to an aggregate employees selected by the Union to attend conventions, conferences and to participate in other Union business, subject to operational requirements. It is understood that the maximum total of twenty all leaves granted under this section will not exceed five (205) normal working days per employee in any calendar year and requests for Employees in the Bargaining Unit provided such leave does not interfere with of absence shall be made, in writing, at least two (2) weeks in advance. At the discretion of the employer, the number of days can be increased provided it does not interfere with the continuance of efficient operation of the employer. Such leave shall be subject to the following conditions:

The Employer agrees to keep the employee whole and remit an invoice to LIUNA Local 3000 for wages paid. The Union agrees to pay such invoices within 60 days of receipt.

Such leave absence shall be subject made, in writing, at least two (2) weeks in advance. The Employer shall maintain the members’ regular wages for the duration of such leave and xxxx the Union to the following conditions:be reimbursed for payment.
