Leave of Absence for the President of the Ontario Nurses' Association. An employee who is elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted upon request leave(s) of absence without loss of seniority and benefits. During such leaves of absence salary and benefits will be kept whole by the Employer and the Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for such salary and Employer contributions to benefits. The employee agrees to notify the Employer of her intention to return to work within two (2) weeks following termination of office.
Leave of Absence for the President of the Ontario Nurses' Association. Upon application, in writing, by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Home, a leave of absence without loss of seniority or benefits, shall be granted to such nurse elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association. The nurse shall continue to accrue seniority and service during her absence. During such leave of absence for a full-time nurse, her salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Home and the Association agrees to reimburse the Home to the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. The nurse agrees to notify the Home of her intention to return to work at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of return.
