Community Expectations. The key to a safe community is you! We all have to take the responsibility to keep ourselves and our halls safe, share information about problems, and look out for each other. The University of Oregon's highest priority is the safety of all persons who participate in university programs and activities. You are encouraged to report to University Housing staff any unsafe or illegal behaviors. In doing so, it is important to note that all University Housing staff may share the information with the appropriate university officials including the University of Oregon Fire Marshal’s Office, and University of Oregon Police Department. This includes but is not limited to the following: unwanted sexual behavior, sexual assault, suicidal thoughts and attempts, alcohol poisoning, drug abuse, trespassing, weapons, eating disorders, harassment and discrimination, domestic violence, theft, vandalism, tampering with fire service feature and fire protection features, initiating false alarms, and playing with or setting fires. All University Housing employees, including student leaders and staff, are mandated reporters of child abuse. Some University Housing employees are also required to report prohibited discrimination, including sexual harassment and assault. We expect that you will share in the responsibility of creating a safe community for all its members. The following community standards are in place to provide everyone a safe environment conducive to sleep, study, and socializing within University expectations. Violations of the community expectations or conduct standards outlined below could result in disciplinary action by University Housing and/or the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards. Residents are required to comply with the below community expectations and conduct policies, the Student Conduct Code, which is expressly incorporated into this agreement and the City of Xxxxxx ordinance regarding excessive noise. The housing community expectations and conduct policies are subject to review and will be provided to residents upon check-in.

Community Expectations. In accordance with community policies, all Primary Licensees and/or Licensee(s) are expected to consistently demonstrate the ability and willingness to maintain reasonable relationships with their apartment-mates and neighbors. Primary Licensee and or Licensee(s) who anticipate or observe violations of community policies are expected to remove themselves from participation and are encouraged to report the violation to staff. Primary Licensee, Licensee(s) and/or their guests who are present during any community policy violation are considered condoning, supporting, and/or encouraging the policy violation, and will be held responsible for theviolation.

Community Expectations. Delta Dorm is a place of education, where each student has the right to learn and grow in a supportive environment among people who are caring and cooperative. The residence hall is committed to working with our students and staff to create a system of accountability that sets clear limits and supports a respectful community. These expectations set a groundwork for our community and will be built upon by all members of the Delta Dorm community at the start of the 2020-2021 school year. ● All members of the residence hall (students, staff, guardians, and community) are essential to creating and maintaining a positive environment. ● The residence hall environment must be physically, socially, and emotionally safe for everyone. This community will xxxxxx personal growth for all community members. ● This philosophy framework informs appropriate behavior by establishing clear expectations and appropriate consequences. ● Desired behaviors should be communicated, taught, and modeled continually throughout the school year at all levels. ● Systematic communication and reflection, based on data and observations, on an individual and collective basis are vital to the successful implementation of the philosophy. ● Conflicts will be handled with respect for the rights of all involved. The values, policies, and procedures that follow will guide both students and staff in creating a safe community. Consistent with these philosophies, the residence hall may utilize restorative practices, a form of rehabilitating relationships as a response to behavior that impacts the residence hall community. Restorative practices are designed to resolve behavioral concerns and allow those who have been impacted to convey the impact of the harm and take steps to make it right. All parties are given an opportunity to restore the relationships in a safe and structured setting. Offenders are held directly accountable for their behavior and are encouraged to positively contribute to the community upon return. Guardians are valued members of our community and are critical resources in helping students learn to resolve issues in a manner that creates a safe environment for all. We will encourage and support guardians in playing an active role while holding students accountable for their personal growth.

  • Community Outreach Please describe all community outreach efforts undertaken since the last report.

  • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.

  • Community Engagement Integration Activities The SP will support the HSP to engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan. Community Task Force participants also will disseminate information throughout the community about the Grantee's revitalization efforts. The Grantee's responsibilities with regard to the Community Task Force include: (1) convening and participating in the Community Task Force and other advisory groups; (2) ensuring that regular meetings of the Community Task Force are held to apprise participants of the status of the development process and to solicit comments, opinions, advice, and recommendations on the planning and implementation of the Grantee's revitalization efforts; and (3) if requested by HUD, entering into a memorandum of understanding with the members of the Community Task Force setting forth the manner and frequency of task force meetings, the method (if any) for designating resident and community participants, and the issues that the task force will discuss and develop.

  • Community Relations Chancellor shall establish and maintain an appropriate community relations program. Chancellor shall attend important college and community events, develop relationships with other key public and private agencies in each of the District's relevant communities where colleges are located and be significantly involved in the District's relevant local communities.

  • Community Service Leave Community service leave is provided for in the NES.

  • Community Service You may be requested to perform some form of community service within the residence facility.

  • Economic Cooperation 1. The Parties will encourage the utilization of cooperation instruments and mechanisms with a view to strengthen the processes of economic integration and commercial exchange. 2. The objectives of economic cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for trade and economic cooperation; and (b) to advance and strengthen trade and economic relations between the Parties. 3. The Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) dialogue about policies and regular exchanges of information and views on ways to promote and expand trade in goods and services between the Parties; (b) joint elaboration of studies and technical projects of economic interest according to the economic development needs identified by the Parties; (c) keeping each other informed of important economic and trade issues, and any impediments to furthering their economic cooperation; (d) providing assistance and facilities to business persons and trade missions that visit the other Party with the knowledge and support of the relevant agencies; (e) supporting dialogue and exchanges of experience among the respective business communities of the Parties; (f) establishing and developing mechanisms for providing information and identifying opportunities for business cooperation, trade in goods and services, investment, and government procurement; and (g) stimulating and facilitating actions of public and/or private sectors in areas of economic interest.

  • Benefit and Burden This Agreement shall inure to the benefit of, and shall be binding upon, the parties hereto and their legatees, distributees, estates, executors or administrators, personal and legal representatives, successors and assigns.
